What Car Shoppers Need to Know

  • Redesigned for the 2025 model year, the Chevrolet Equinox is a strong competitor in the small SUV class.
  • From now until at least June 30, lessees can get an Equinox for as little as $279 per month.
  • Financing as low as 1.9% is available for qualifying buyers.

Chevrolet redesigned the Equinox for the 2025 model year, vaulting it from mid-pack (at best) to a highly appealing competitor in the ultra-competitive small SUV class. The Equinox’s cushy ride, handsome cabin, generous list of standard equipment and easy-to-use infotainment interface have made the right impression on buyers, with sales making a not-insignificant jump from 2024 to 2025.

If you’ve been considering an Equinox, now might be the time to commit. Chevrolet is currently running nationwide lease deals on its bestselling SUV, as well as offering low-interest financing to qualified buyers. All incentives outlined below are valid until at least June 30.

Lease Deals

Chevrolet is running different lease deals for the 2025, 2026 and 2027 Equinox, but the model year doesn’t matter much at this point. There has been just one big change to the Equinox since the current generation debuted for 2025. Whereas front-wheel-drive versions of the SUV previously used a continuously variable automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive SUVs got an eight-speed automatic, both drivetrain configurations use the eight-speed for 2027.

Each of the three Equinox trim levels gets a slightly different exterior treatment, and the RS and Activ trims include more standard features. The ZQ3 in the table below is the internal name for the Convenience II Package, which adds rain-sensing windshield wipers with a heated wiper park, a hands-free power liftgate, synthetic leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control and wireless phone charging to the LT.

Model Year Trim Monthly Payment Due at Signing Price (With Destination) Effective Monthly Cost
2025 Equinox FWD LT $279 $2,699 $31,990 $354

Finance Deals

The interest rate, or annual percentage rate (APR) is the amount a lender charges a buyer to borrow money. A lower APR can save you thousands of dollars over the life of a loan. As with the lease promotions outlined above, Chevrolet is offering better deals on Equinoxes from older model years, but that should make little difference to shoppers—particularly those who opt for the AWD SUV.

Model Year 24-Month APR 36-Month APR 48-Month APR 60-Month APR 72-Month APR
2025 1.9% 1.9% 2.9% 3.9% 5.9%
2026 1.9% 1.9% 2.9% 3.9% 5.9%
2027 4.9% 4.9% 5.9% 5.9% 6.8%

Cash Deals

Chevrolet is offering minimal cash deals on the Equinox at this time. A lease loyalty incentive gives returning lessees of GM vehicles $1,000 cash back. Dealerships also receive up to $500 from GM for every Equinox sold, but how much of that payment your dealer is willing to share with the buyer will vary.
