How Much Is the 2026 Subaru Uncharted?
Key Points
- The 2026 Subaru Uncharted is priced from $36,445 (all prices include $1,450 destination charge).
- All-new Subaru EV based on the Toyota C-HR
- Manufacturer-estimated range of more than 300 miles
Subaru had a busy 2025, debuting a new Outback, reintroducing the Crosstrek Hybrid, launching the Forester Hybrid, updating the Solterra and launching the new Trailseeker (a stretched version of the Solterra). While the Trailseeker introduces a new nameplate to Subaru showrooms, only one of Subaru’s launches in 2025 was truly an all-new vehicle: the 2026 Uncharted. Like the Solterra and Trailseeker, which are based on the Toyota bZ and bZ Woodland, respectively, the Uncharted is a joint project between Subaru and Toyota. Toyota has not announced pricing for its version, the C-HR, yet, but the Uncharted will start $3,500 lower than the refreshed Solterra.

Trim Levels and Safety Features
The entry-level Uncharted Premium rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and includes keyless entry and starting, LED headlights, a power liftgate, rain-sensing windshield wipers with a de-icer and Digital Key, which allows owners to use their smartphone as a key and to remotely monitor the vehicle. Inside, the Uncharted features a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. Cabin tech consists of a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system and two wireless phone chargers.
In addition to standard all-wheel drive and increased output, the Sport adds synthetic leather upholstery, a power front-passenger seat and a heated steering wheel.
At the top of the lineup, the Uncharted GT is differentiated by its 20-inch wheels, a panoramic moonroof and available two-tone paint with a contrasting roof. Inside, it includes ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, an 11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and a rearview camera mirror.
On every 2026 Uncharted, Subaru’s EyeSight suite of safety technologies includes forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, emergency steering assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, front cross-traffic alert, road-sign recognition, a driver-attention monitor and automatic high beams. Front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard. The Sport trim and GT trims gain lane change assist, traffic-jam assist and a 360-degree camera.
Powertrain Specs and Range
The entry-level Premium is the only front-wheel drive Uncharted; it has a single electric motor with 221 horsepower. The Sport and GT get dual motors for AWD and a total output of 338 hp. All three trims draw power from a 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Official EPA efficiency estimates are not yet available, but Subaru says the Sport will have more than 300 miles of range and expects the AWD variants to get better than 285 miles on a charge.
