Volkswagen Eos Available for Test Drives Only

It seems Volkswagen is intent on getting people into its all-new hardtop convertible Eos while the weather’s nice. The problem? Customers won’t be able to drive one home. We fully anticipate the Eos will be a big player in the hardtop convertible market, but it seems odd that VW has models at dealerships available for test drives when they won’t be available for sale until the fall.

The base Eos features the highly praised 200-hp turbo four-cylinder engine found in many of VW and Audi’s product lineup. That model starts at $31,065. There is also a 3.2-liter V-6 that produces 250 hp, which starts at $36,850.

It could be worse; you could have to put an order in for your Eos without driving any test vehicle at all.
