What’s the Best New-Car Deal for Black Friday 2025?

It doesn’t matter what economy or timeline you’re currently living through, one thing this great nation of ours can agree upon is this: Black Friday is ridiculous. I mean both the deals available and the way people act in public in the dead of night for a Nintendo Switch 2 (though online retail thankfully seems to have mitigated that in recent years). But those on the hunt for cash back on a new car may find that though such deals are available, they may not be as plentiful — or readily accessible — as advertised.

Part of that is because cars are simply getting more expensive on a whole, but part of it is also due to reduced incentives. The latest report from J.D. Power outlines how incentive spending is down 0.3 percentage point from November 2024 despite vehicles sitting around on dealer lots five days longer than they did the same time a year ago. Dealers are still looking to offload electric vehicles in the wake of the expired federal tax credit, but for everything else languishing on lots, lease and finance deals are most automakers’ preferred current method of offloading. Even so, we dug deeper to find cash-back offers on the following three vehicles; read on for details.

2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • Factory discount: $0-$6,250
  • Approximate price after savings: $32,000-$76,000
  • Approximate factory savings: 0%-16%
  • Offer ends: Dec. 1

Ahead of a 2026 redesign that rearranges the Grand Cherokee’s insides for an all-new turbocharged four-cylinder engine in place of its venerable V-6, Jeep did nothing but change the price for the 2025 model — and that’s the one you’ll want to investigate when it comes to cash-back offers. Now through Dec. 1, the brand is offering as much as $6,250 off MSRP (and potentially more on the three-row L variant). In lieu of those savings, qualified shoppers can get financing of 4.9% for up to 72 months in the regions we surveyed. A major caveat we cannot reiterate enough: As we’ve often observed with parent automaker Stellantis’ U.S. brands (which include Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram), these discounts vary widely across the country. Be sure to read your fine print and check with your dealer accordingly.

  • Factory discount: $0-$5,500
  • Approximate price after savings: $39,000-$55,000
  • Approximate factory savings: 6%-12%
  • Offer ends: Dec. 1

Another nameplate that hasn’t seen much alteration over the years — indeed, the lineup was simplified for 2025 — Chrysler’s Pacifica minivan is the most straightforward of the deals on our list: In the regions we surveyed, shoppers could find up to $5,500 off all three trims and, alternatively, financing of 6.9% for up to 72 months. Even for a loaded line-topping Pinnacle trim, that still works out to 9% off MSRP. As with the other two deals, however, you’ll have to act soon; all such offers expire Dec. 1.

Editor’s Choice: 2025 Ram 1500

We’ve often highlighted the Ram 1500, our Best Pickup Truck of 2025 award winner, for a variety of reasons: the refined traits of the new-for-’25 twin-turbo Hurricane six-cylinder engine; the materials quality of the interior; the sheer number of options (and price ranges) available to shoppers. As we approach the end of the year, here’s another reason to showcase the truck: In most regions we surveyed, deals of 10% off MSRP are available on trims up through the off-roading Rebel, with lesser cash-back offers available in some regions for the even higher RHO, Limited and Limited Longhorn trims. And though the top-tier Tungsten trim offers no such money on the table in return, even it features financing of 0% for up to 72 months for qualified shoppers; only the RHO withholds any special financing offers. As with the Grand Cherokee, however, these offers varied widely in the regions we surveyed; make sure to check your own ZIP code for specifics.

How We Look for Deals

To help car shoppers find the best deals for Black Friday 2025, we lead with cash offers available to shoppers at large, not those that require financing with the automaker or having certain qualifications (e.g., military or college-graduate discounts, loyalty or conquest bonuses, etc.). In calculating the overall percentage discount and pricing after incentives, we focus on the vehicle’s price range from the cheapest incentives-eligible trim level with no factory options to the priciest eligible trim with all factory options. We include the destination charge in such pricing, but we exclude a few other items: taxes and fees, which vary considerably by region, and dealer accessories, which vary considerably by automaker.

Because these are factory discounts, they should be available to all participating dealers. As such, use them as the starting point for negotiations, not a reason to skip haggling altogether.

Incentives data come from automakers’ websites. Remember, our numbers are current as of publication for the markets we survey (generally Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles and New York). They reflect advertised customer discounts, not unadvertised factory-to-dealer cash. Discount financing typically requires qualifying credit, too, and incentives may vary by region and trim level; automakers may also change them later in the window of relevance. In sum: Your discounts may vary, so check with your local dealer for specifics.
