I have purchased two Outback’s from this dealership and still go there for service. Today my service assistant was Allie....outstanding...helpful, super friendly, accommodating, personable...oh, and yes my car was ready when she said it would be! However, I have to say that all of the service reps I have dealt with have been great.

Great service and people
Planet Subaru is THE BEST auto place I have ever dealt with! This is my second Outback from them and I wouldn't go to any other place. Not only is the care and customer service great, there are dogs there too! What could make the waiting time go by faster other than a couple of friendly dogs?? I moved a distance last year but it is worth the 30 mile drive for their friendliness and service. The work they do it tops too!

Had my car serviced 03/08 and what was a very stressful situation became a wonderful experience at Planet Subaru. My warranty was up in January and I had a faulty starter. The service department took care of me and all turned out well.

Exemplary - both the dealership and the dealer
This past December, an unexpected event necessitated a trip to MA to assist my parents. Part of this assistance turned out to be helping my mother, the sole driver, to sell back my parents' 2 Subarus in order to purchase an updated vehicle. I had quarantined in NY for almost a year. I was terrified to go in to the dealership but it was clear my mother, normally utterly competent and sharp, was not feeling confident about handling this on her own after a recent and unexpected hospitalization. Thus, I steeled myself to go inside with her and found the dealership to be everything a business should be and doing everything a business should be doing in a time of a contagious pandemic. The spacing, the disinfecting, the masks... things tumbled in to place in what felt like a miracle, but was actually just the result of the fact that we were working with David Gardner in a setting that felt safe. Despite knowing which car she wanted to purchase, the process was unavoidably lengthy not only due to the necessity of trading in their other two Subarus, but due to my mother's exhaustion, anxiety and difficulty taking in all the information necessary to complete the transactions. David was so utterly patient and empathetic. He listened attentively and displayed such kindness and support no matter how often he needed to repeat himself that I wanted to cry with gratitude. I myself have purchased several vehicles (my own purchase of a Forester in NY was the impetus for my parents' subsequent Subaru purchases), but I have never experienced nor expected to experience anything as comforting or matter of fact as this transaction. I absolutely hated car dealerships and dealers until I went in to Planet Subaru and worked with David Gardner.

Allie. Customer service.
I was very unhappy with the service department when I bought my car 4 years ago. I decided to never use it. I recently brought it in for long overdue recalls. I had Allie, customer service, to set things up --and she was really helpful. Allie gave me all the information I needed. I have now been back a 2 nd time - and Allie was again - an excellent customer service person. I wasn't overcharged - which was always happening previously - and I only got what I wanted fixed....she definitely is an asset and provides appropriate service information, is very welcoming, and doesn't try to keep promoting more and more services - which was previously just ridiculous.
