Great experience!!!
Judson, Kevin and Jon are fantastic! They were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. The atmosphere at the Topsham location is very welcoming and friendly. Judson and Kevin were very patient in answering all of my questions and put me into the right vehicle for me. Jon did a great job of explaining all of the paperwork and service plans. I feel like he really offered the plans that were best for me and I did not feel pressured at all. Everyone I saw there was friendly and smiling, this is definitely a dealership that I would recommend to anyone. My mom bought her new car there and now Judson is looking for a vehicle for my sister now too!

Great salesperson, typical "car-buying" experience
Jenn Towers was an excellent salesperson. She by far knew more about the features in our new Sienna than any salesperson we've worked with at other dealers. She was flexible in letting us spend some time driving the van, and held our same standards for having a meticulously perfect new car. I would highly recommend her. The van I found online the night before was sold the morning (the next day) I went to test drive, and they worked to get a similar model to the dealer the next day. The rest of the sales process (mainly negotiating) took forever. I hate the back and forth, and understand that it comes with buying a car. I recommend knowing your purchase price, trade price, and sticking to them. After hours of back and forth, we ended up with the deal we wanted - I only wish it had taken less time, especially given that I wasn't going to budge.

Terrible customer service and poor purchasing experience
We found what appeared to be the perfect vehicle to meet our needs advertised by Lee Toyota on eBay motors. Had a pleasant, no pressure experience by email and phone with internet salesperson, David Poisson, during which we received an all-inclusive, written purchase agreement. We drove three hours to the dealership, where Drew To greeted us and took us for a test drive. The Toyota Certified 2012 Sienna LE was definitely NOT "reconditioned to Toyota's exacting standards", by any stretch of the imagination! We pulled a cracker, loads of sand and a broken hair elastic out of the rear seat tracks, more sand from beneath the jump seat and found the upholstery stained and dirty. There were an unusual number of scratch marks on the drivers door handle, a four inch long scrape near the drivers headlight and a fist sized dent in the rear lift gate. After negotiating an allowance for us to pay for reconditioning and damage repair at home (we were NOT going to make another six hour trip to pick up the vehicle), we figured we would be on our way. Boy, were we wrong! The Floor Manager, Mike Cosgrove, actually ARGUED with us about the written, all-inclusive purchase price we had received by email from David Poisson. He insulted his co-worker in the process, insisting that his coworker must have been confused as our "out the door price" did not include the documentation fees. He was willing to pass up a $20,000 sale over a $350.00 fee! After he conceded to the price we had received in writing, we still had to wait for the Finance person, Judson Curtis, while he took FOUR TRIES to get the right numbers on the purchase agreement! Considering that we had agreed on a price, in writing, BEFORE we came to the dealership, we had NO trade-in and did NOT need financing, we found the two and a half hour purchase process at Lee Toyota to be completely unacceptable. At this point, we are wishing we had walked away at the first sign that things were not quite as they advertised at this dealership. We would NEVER purchase another vehicle from Lee Toyota. Buyer beware!

Low pressure, friendly experience.
We were able to look vehicles over with no pressure from sales staff. Once we decided what we wanted , we talked to our sales person ( Joe Day ) and closed the deal in a very short period of time. Hats off to the team at Lee Toyota Scion in Topsham! All of the people we spoke to were friendly and willing to assist us. Great job!

Another fan
Car shopping is right up there with root canals for me in the category of "things I hate the most". But honestly, this was actually an enjoyable experience. Joe Day and all of the staff of Lee Toyota made purchasing my Camry so easy. It's clear that the staff enjoy working at Lee Toyota and it creates a great atmosphere for the buyer--very relaxed and comfortable. Masterful salesmanship. I honestly did not plan to purchase a car that night--I was just looking at options and starting to think about my next car. After purchasing 3 other Camrys at Lee Topsham, it was my first destination. I have always been treated well there. Now, after this experience, I am truly a loyal fan. I'll be back!

Purchased and leased ... Toyota RAV-4s
We just purchased the 2011 Toyota RAV-4 that we had initially leased and we have leased a new 2014 Toyota RAV-4. Our experience at Lee Toyota in Topsham, ME was a very good one. It was a complicated transaction doing both in the same day. All of the salespeople that helped us were knowledgeable and very helpful. We are very happy with both transactions.. We liked the 2011 RAV so much that we are purchasing it and decided that we enjoyed the RAV so much that we would lease a new one also.. Now we each have one!!!
