Tip Top Dealership

A great dealership and owner with a fine family tradition (Lee Family) of dealerships in Maine. Management and sales make you feel welcome and important. You just know they are going to bend over backwards to make you happy and they do. The selection of vehicles was plentiful and the sales person, Tricia Hunter , was top notch. It was all quick and easy.

Problem with Finance

Traded our 4 Runner 09 for a brand new 2014. Our sales person Jennifer was fun, It was until we got to finance and dealing with the finance & sales "manager" that things got bad. They tried to low ball us on our trade, we had a clean and exact conversation about what we wanted. They said ok, It wasn't until the paperwork was done that we found they had snuck in the low ball offer (not the agreed upon amount) on our trade, due to the mincing of words and dealership lingo. We felt so discouraged to have this happen (for the second time with the same dealership). No one made a point to show us anything or go over the paperwork in detail...that was how they tried to slide it by us. We didn't even find out until we looked into our own financing with a credit union (after being told not to use a credit union due to the exempt tax status.....). Needless to say we were completely disappoint, we love our new car but can guarantee we won't be shopping at Lee Toyota again for our next vehicle.

shame on us for giving a second chance

THE BEST!!!!!

This was the best car buying experience I have had. Chris is an amazing guy. Very knowledgeable and yet down to earth and friendly. He made it such a comfortable experience. I will definitely buy/lease there again, and will recommend them to anyone I know. Two thumbs up

Straightfoward

Mr. Cough was a wonderful salesperson. He didn't pressure us at all and was very nice. It was a straightforward buying experience and I would certainly recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing a car.

Fantastic Sales Experience with Meg Benton

Meg Benton (sales person @ Lee Toyota, Topsham) met us in the Toyota parking lot. She introduced herself and offered to help us if we needed it. My wife Joan & I definitely needed/wanted help since we both needed vehicles, hadn't bought a car in the last 12 years, and wanted to trade in 3 older vehicles. Two of our trade-ins were a '98 Camry and an "02 Camry. We were extremely pleased with both cars since they served us well-one for 157,000 miles and the other for 215,000 miles. Meg showed us a new Camry. Meg was very pleasant, courteous, friendly, up beat, extremely professional, and wonderfully knowledgeable about the vehicle. We couldn't have picked a more knowledgeable and helpful person. Meg familiarized us all the mechanical aspects of the Camry. She definitely "knew her stuff" when we checked under the hood as well as the complicated equipment/gadgets inside the car. She was well versed with the dual AC/heat controls, the set up for the numerous functions like cruise control, interior/exterior lights, electric seats, defrosters for the windshield and the rear window plus the side view mirrors. Meg came with us for a test drive through back roads and the highway so we could "feel out" the new cars. She was very responsive to all our questions during the test drive and made us feel very comfortable with her knowledge of the Camry. We were also interested in replacing my '86 Chevy 3/4-ton passenger van. We were looking to downsize our van while still retaining the usefulness of a vehicle with large interior space. Meg introduced us to a Sienna and showed us all the pluses of the vehicle as well as the ways the Sienna would satisfy our needs and replace the larger 3/4-ton van. The 8 passenger seating was great to accommodate us when our granddaughters come to visit. The roof rack and the removable seating were also what I needed to handle larger loads. Meg again was very knowledgeable about all the aspects of the Sienna. She demonstrated how to move, adjust & remove the interior seats. She was extremely well versed with the engine compartment as well as the complexities of the interior instruments/gadgets. Meg again rode with us on our test drive. Joan & I were very happy with the quiet, responsive and smooth test drive. When we all went inside the office to "talk turkey", Meg made us feel very welcome. We decided that we would like to purchase both the Camry & the Sienna since they both filled our needs. Meg had our trade-ins evaluated by the mechanics while we talked selling prices, available loans, and availability of the actual vehicles/colors/options we wanted. Meg really worked hard to get our business. She presented good prices from the start, told us about the 0% loans plus rebates on both vehicles. She worked with the service department for prices & availability for roof rack crossbars that I wanted. She also worked with an outside vendor to install a special trailer hitch for the Sienna so I could haul my trailer as I did previously with my older/larger van. She also worked for Joan & I to get more money for our 3 trade-ins. She helped us negotiate with the sales manager and made us feel comfortable that we were making a good deal and that there was no further need for us to "shop around" for a better deal, Meg took time to show us the parts department, the expansive service department and the clean & comfortable waiting area when we brought our new vehicles in for the free maintenance service that comes with the vehicles. She also introduces us to the personnel in the parts & service areas. Meg kept us abreast of the status of our new vehicles. She wrote emails and provided numerous "follow-up" phone calls to let us know when our vehicles were scheduled to arrive, when the Sienna was going to have the trailer hitch installed, and when they would be ready for pick up. Meg clarified what documents we would need when we traded in our older vehicles. Meg made the transition from our 3 trade-ins to the new Camry & Sienna very easy, smooth and pleasant. Dealing with Meg and the Toyota dealership was a very good and comfortable experience. I've already owned 3 Toyota Camry's; the quality of the vehicles sell themselves, but dealing with Meg & the dealership made a difficult and daunting task very comfortable & pleasant.

Great Service!

I worked with Chris Leblanc to lease a new Camry and the experience couldn't have been better. This was my first experience with leasing in lieu of buying. Chris worked hard to get me into a vehicle I love at a price I could afford. I feel I walked away with a great new car and a great deal. All of the staff were very welcoming and kind making the car leasing experience much less nerve wrecking for me. There was no pressure to buy, but they did follow up with me without ringing my phone excessively or sending a dozen emails. I feel confident in what I purchased and I would purchase from there again.

Stress-free, no pressure and very enjoyable

New Tacoma Purchase

I purchased a new Tacoma from Kevin Cough at Lee Toyota. As a retired professional I am a bit short on patience when I am subjected to dealer razzmataz. Kevin was respectful of my decision-making process and not pushy. He was very knowledgable and most helpful in getting me through the new car buying process. I would recommend Kevin and Lee Toyota in Topsham to anyone looking for a Toyota.

Great experience

Lee Toyota of Topsham was very motivated to treat me like a VIP and make sure I got the deal I expected. They were successful. There was no pressure, but when I was committed the whole sales team was a pleasure to work with. It was an overall great experience.
