    My experience with Tom Gray Auto Sales was excellent ! Darrell (Manager) was friendly,polite and always helpful. I am totally 100 % satisfied with the... car I purchased.

    I talked to Darrellfor several days on a 1998 Chevy Astro van . We agreed on a price based on the options diplayed on the website about the vehicle. I... drove 4hrs one way with cash in hand , when i arrived at Tom grays auto sales i was everything but happy . Looking over the vehicle , I found that there little or no coolant in the radiator the a/c was not functional ,driver side door handle broken ,back door wouldnt open ,and the list went down hill from there . When i went back into the office and had told Derrell that this’s Astro van was not a 6500 van he asked what it was worth to me . I told him that it wasn’t worth over 2500 dollars . And that’s were it had ended . My advice to Tom gray auto sales is simple . DONT LIE TO PEOPLE, the car or van in this case is what it is . If things are broken and or not working than advertise as such .

    There was absolutely no hassle. I never felt like someone was selling a car, but helping me see what was available. They handled all the paperwork, so... the process went quickly. Highly recommend.

    My husband and I just spent the better part of our day testing driving cars at this dealership. I really can say this is the best experience I have ever... had at a car lot. Darryl is a no pressure, to the point car salesman. He didn’t follow us around the lot trying to sell us every car, he let us inspect each car by ourselves but was always close by to answer any questions. I feel like he gave us honest answers and really helped point us towards cars that fit our families needs. We didn’t buy today but we will be back! Hopefully tomorrow!!

    I contacted online to see if they had the vehicle I was interested in & they did reply by email quickly that they had the car. I then called to arrange... a test drive. I called on a Monday to check lot hours-was told to come in on Saturday due to rush-hour traffic during the week. And they close at 5 or 5:30 during the week. I work during the week until 5 so I planned to come in on Saturday. I called Thursday to find out what their 'dealer fees' are before applying for pre-approval with my bank to see total I need to borrow. I asked the question to the salesperson that answered & he said "I'll make it real easy for you..just text me your info and fax number." So I did and he faxes a buyers order/sales agreement (that did show the dealer fee). However, it had the full asking price of the vehicle listed on it. It's hard to describe exactly but I felt insulted. Why didn't he just say "our fee is 199 on every sale or whatever it is? On top of that, why would you assume a person would offer to pay more than the retail value on a vehicle (the one was priced about 400 high). It was a major turn off--or maybe just a personality clash--I dunno. Anyways, I didn't even go look at the car. I recommend adjusting your open hours at least 1-2 days a week to accommodate people that work typical office hours like until 7 or so (open a tad later those days). And actually listen to what a potential buyer is asking and answer without assuming. If they are asking a stupid question then find out why (they may not understand the why's behind something) and treat them with respect (even if it's pretend).

    As a single female, I am always looking for a comfortable place to purchase a car. Darrell Tinsley greeted me as I walked in the door. All the key questions... were answered ( what type, what you want to spend, ect.) Their selection was awesome. Darrell was so helpful. Answered all my questions. I walked away knowing I had found exactly what I was looking for.

    I HAD AN EASY EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THE SALES PERSON AT TOM GRAY AUTO SALES. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE HARD WORK THEY PUT INTO TRYING TO FIND THE RIGHT CAR... FOR ME. TOM GRAY AUTO SALES HAS A GREAT SELECTION OF USED CARS.

    MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE DEALERSHIP WAS VERY PLEASANT! THE SALESMAN WAS KIND AND HELPED ME FIND THE CAR SUITED JUST FOR ME. I ALSO GOT THE BEST DEAL AROUND... TOWN AT TOM GRAY AUTO SALES.

    I called about a car and got Darrell. He wasn't very helpful in answering any questions I had about the car. He just proceeded to tell me how many people... are coming to look at the car and how amazing it is. It really put me off. It was hard to get any questions answered with anything but him telling me how many people are coming to look at the car and how it's such a hot commodity. The whole thing was quite unprofessional and off-putting.

    I'm very sorry you wasn't happy with Darrell's conversation with you. He has been a very good employee for over 15 years and does a great job for us.... Darrell was trying to express to you that if you truly was interested in this vehicle that you would need to act fast as we did have several people scheduled to come in and look at it. We sold the vehicle the very next day.

    Was very interested in a vehicle I had seen. Went to website, made several inquires. No responses. Went to facility at 5:00pm, website says closes at 5:30... pm. They were closed at 5:00 pm. Went the next morning at 9:00 am, encounter "Darrell". Darrel was more interested in his texting, than an actual live customer. Darrell was rude, and annoyed with my interruptions. I asked for the owners info, and was given a card, that had the store number, and listed closing at 6:00 pm. Not sure how this place is still in business?

    We apologize for any slow response. We try to answer all inquiries in a timely manner. We actually do close at 5:00 and realized that after you post...ed this that there was an error on the cars.com hours which we corrected. The cards do state six however we changed the hours as we didn't have enough customers to merit staying open the extra hour. We will work past 5 with an appointment. Sorry for your inconvenience.
