I brought my 2016 Civic to Proctor Honda for a

I brought my 2016 Civic to Proctor Honda for a transmission replacement, and they installed the transmission mount upside down. When I contacted Mr. Bobo, the service manager, instead of taking responsibility, he denied any wrongdoing. Coggin Honda in Jacksonville later confirmed the mount was installed incorrectly, provided proof, and fixed the problem. For a $6,600 repair, Proctor Honda chose denial over accountability. I would not trust them with my vehicle again.

Sterling Experience

I have been going to Zach for many years from the time we began buying Hondas. He is wonderful service advisor who explains everything clearly and whose integrity is absolutely fantastic. He has even told us when we do not need service although my wife and I are "nervous Nellies" about all things mechanical. He is a delightful fellow. Accolades!

Beware of the process

The service depart is the worst. I would not recommend buying a Honda due to the service depart. 1 1/2 weeks for an appointment, 7 hours for a diagnostic test, 1 day to get parts in another day to have the car repaired. 2/3 days for something minor. You have to call them they wont call you. What a inconvenience!!!

Why their Oil change is too expensive!

Why they have expensive oil change amount of $72. In Honda of Gainsville FL it is only $16.96. It is the same Honda dealership. It must be inflation or profit to cover their cost.

None in Stock, but didn't tell me wasted 2.5 hours

I'm an hour away, and they let me drive over to buy a CR-V Hybrid, but they didn't tell me that they had none in stock. Thanks for wasting my time and gas. it's amazing you list so many available on cars.com yet you had none.

Best dealership around, hands down!

First let me say I have been instrumental in finding and buying four new vehicles since August 2020, for myself and family members. I have dealt with a LOT of dealerships and salespeople, and honestly car shopping is probably my least favorite thing in the world to do. After getting the run around locally from both Toyota and Honda dealerships, exorbitant fees, addons, price changes at the last minute, or just general bad experiences, a friend told me about Cars.com and I found exactly what I wanted at Proctor, but it was reserved. I reached out anyway, and JR was responsive, and quick to find exactly what I wanted. He emailed me an accurate price quote within just a few minutes of our call. JR kept be apprised of the estimated date of arrival, and let me know quickly when the car arrived. We made an appointment for a pickup time the next day (I live a few hours away), and from walking into the dealership at the appointment time, to being back on the road driving home, it was well under an hour and that was with JR spending a good amount of time going over the features of the multimedia system with me, as well as features of the overall car (was my first SUV, first hybrid, first Honda, etc) JR could not have been more pleasant to deal with, he was responsive when I had questions before and after the sale, and now, when I am AGAIN looking for a new car (four months later), despite deciding not to go with Honda this time, he has been fantastic again. I’ve purchased many vehicles in my lifetime, this absolutely goes down as my best buying experience and I would not hesitate to recommend both Proctor and JR to anyone for their car buying needs. A++. Thank you JR!

Great Service for FSU students

My daughter attends FSU and we live over 200 miles away. Her Honda Fit was towed from an improper parking lot, and rear brake cable was damaged. Tow company denied damage, but Proctor Honda was able to repair the cable and I paid by card remotely to save me a trip to Tallahassee with my daughter simply dropping car off and picking it up. The next semester I got new tires on her car, again paying remotely. My daughter is now confident and secure in having her 2015 Honda Fit serviced at the dealership that she handles everything on her own. Highly recommend the service department

Wonderful service!

The whole process was the easiest car purchase I have ever made from start to finish. It took only minutes! No haggle, no stress, no bantering, simple and quick transaction. The whole process was done over a few text messages. They gave me a great amount for my trade. My new car was delivered to my house and my trade was delivered back to the dealership.

Patients while researching alternatives

I believed I knew exactly what I wanted. After months of careful research and planning I felt I was ready to make the purchase. The only thing I hadn’t planned on was how the actual car would drive. I contacted this dealer because I have used them multiple times before with other automotive purchases and had excellent results. The sales person I spoke with over the phone was kind enough to arrange a test drive of a vehicle I have never experienced before. With the careful social distancing that this dealer was performing they let me drive the car by myself. Unfortunately the car I drove did not have the performance that I was so hoping for, however the dealership experience that they gave me was far greater than I had ever anticipated. After speaking with the sales person about the test drive I explain to him that I might like to go in a different direction. I explain to him my experience and asked him to keep an eye out for a different vehicle. With the trust, flexibility, and consideration I was given at this dealership I will continue to do business with them in the future.
