I am very disappointed with my experience at AutoNation Toyota Fort Myers. What should have been a smooth vehicle purchase has turned into an unnecessary and frustrating situation. Ricky was my salesperson, and another employee, whose name I unfortunately do not remember, handled the financing. My concerns are not only with one individual, but with the overall way the dealership has handled the process after the sale. I purchased and financed the vehicle through AutoNation Toyota Fort Myers, but I am now having problems obtaining the documentation needed to properly register the vehicle. My temporary tag is about to expire, and I have been informed that the bank may need approximately three more weeks before the necessary documents are ready. As a customer, I should not have to chase down paperwork or worry about being left without a valid tag for a vehicle that I purchased and financed through this dealership. These issues should have been handled or clearly explained before they became an urgent problem. The communication and follow-up from Ricky, the finance department, and the dealership staff have not met my expectations. Selling the vehicle should not be the end of the dealership's responsibility. Customers deserve proper support afterward, especially when there are unresolved title, registration, or temporary tag issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AutoNation Toyota Fort Myers. I expected much better organization, communication, and customer service. I hope management takes responsibility for the situation and helps resolve it before my temporary tag expires.
