Awful experience!!! Just drove 120 miles round trip to buy a car and was told we couldn’t aford one , to go look at cheaper cars and this was a before ms Gladwell had our income information or credit score so we Won’t be making this trip again. Terrible dealership representation!!!

I recently went into this dealership to purchase a car in

I recently went into this dealership to purchase a car in which I was given a man named DJ Smith to work with. After test driving the vehicle I decided it was a good fit and wanted to purchase the vehicle. I asked for the out the door price and DJ does the usual let me check with my manager upon returning he gives me a car price of approximately 36-37 thousand dollars. I responded that’s not the price I saw online. He stated what did you see online I gave him the number of 29k which he stated, theres no way, that’s almost a 8 thousand dollar difference acting as if he was shocked that the number he had given me vs the number I quoted him from their own car dealerships site was different. He asks to see my phone still acting as if he didn’t believe me and stated I need to show this to my manager this can’t be. I stated to him please stop with the games you know this number is online and when I told you I was interested in the car you probably saw that number come up as the online price but you didn’t want to give it to me because if I didn’t go online first I wouldn’t have known the price difference therefore you’d have greater profit margins on the vehicle. He comes back from his his manager and says. Lucky for you my manager said he going to give you the online price, I asked him why he didn’t tell me the online price the first time instead of him trying to swindle me out of thousands of dollars, his response was “BRA I didn’t know, do you want to get this done or not” that was the first red flag. I’m not sure if anyone in a customer dependent role should be calling a buyer “bra” second the tone in which he said it was very arrogant and unbecoming of a salesman. I responded to him that’s not how you talk to me he stated “what you mean” “bra I am talking to you” at that point I removed myself from working with him and decided to work with another salesman, the other salesman was Mike he was very courteous, respectful and concerned on making sure I got what I wanted. Fast forward after I got the paperwork done I had to come back after the initial day I went in to finalize payments mike was no longer and I was promised that they fill the gas tank because it wasn’t on full at the time of purchase. The finance guy says mike isn’t here today but dj is you worked with him in the car as well. I stated I did the deal with Mike not dj because of mikes demeanor. He stated well dj got credit as well and asks dj to fill up my tank since he was the seller. Dj states I don’t have time right now I can get to it later. The finance guy looked at him in unbelief as he was sitting there doing nothing. The finance guy then asked him how long do you think? to which he responded I don’t know I’m with a customer “meanwhile I’ve been in this dealership for 30 minutes at this time” I’ve watched this person sit at a table because he doesn’t have a desk because he doesn’t sell enough cars to get one and no one has talked to him except another salesman not a single customer. He stated that because he didn’t want to help me and wanted to keep me waiting because of our previous interaction. If he was indeed with another customer that would’ve been understandable but it was obvious he wasn’t and had an attitude due to losing out on a sale. I asked him could he give me a timeframe he began to raise his voice in a hostile tone and said once “bra you can wait” I looked at the finance guy and asked “who is he talking to” Dj’s exact response was “I’m talking to you BRA” once again becoming hostile and unprofessional. At this point I asked to speak to a manager. I informed the manager of the whole situation. With the fine person there as to not distort any circumstance that took place as he was a witness the manager seemed to have expected such from the worker as he didn’t seem to shocked when I informed him of such. So this leads me to believe that either they accept this type of behavior from employees or honestly don’t care after you’ve signed an agreement.

This was my first time buying a car, I was so worried I

This was my first time buying a car, I was so worried I would be struggling with the process and I thought I'd have no idea what I was leaving with but literally every single person there was SO helpful. Chris walked me through everything he was doing and checked in every chance he got to help me leave the lot with a car! We also had help from Zachary who did the finance side of things and totally made sense of every bit of money going into the car. I recommend this place to everyone, first time buyer or not!! Thank you Performance Honda!!
