Took my 2015 Subaru STI there to get work done. They accidentally cut my steering wheel in the process. They immediately denied it and after I pressed... them they offered to charge me $400 for a replacement for the part they damaged or they'd let their leather repair guy try to fix it. Be careful about this place. If they screw up their work, YOU will be on the hook to fix it. Super untrustworthy.
Wonderful buying experience, terrible service experience. Called to get my windshield replaced because of a crack from a rock. I was told I had to call... my insurance. I explained I already did and now needed to schedule to get it replaced. Since the person didn't seem to understand, I asked her to have the service manager call me. I never received a call back, instead I went to Busam Subaru in Fairfield. What a wonderful experience. They gave me the window replacement phone number, coordinated when the window could be replaced, gave me a car to drive for 2 days, and housed my car so the window could properly be set for 2 days. Couldn't have asked for more. Personnel extremely helpful, nice. I would buy from Beechmont but skip the sevice.
We had a great experience here! We bought our car from Jack who was very helpful, honest, no pressure, & even helped with our children!! Thanks Jack for... making a big decision an easy one!
Recently had a timing belt replaced on my outback. Received a call from them that during the replacement the technician suggested replacing the idler pullies... due to sound they were making, based on this I agreed but wanted the old parts. Was given the parts after paying and an examination of the pullies showed no sound, no axial or radial play, basically they are mechanically sound. They were changed for the mighty dollar, nothing else. Also on the inspection list was a caution saying that my brake would need servicing soon with my rear brakes being worse with 5 to 6 mm wear left. I changed my front brakes just prior to last winter and my rear brakes last spring!! I doubt he even looked at the brakes and just made his suggestion based on vehicle mileage. Looks like all they service I will be using from this place is the free oil change.
I was looking for a specific used car they had in their inventory. Took it for a test drive and they didn’t pressure me to buy right then and there. It... was an easy buying process and at a good price.
Went in on a Monday to test drive a used car. Staff were very friendly and helped me right away. 5 hours later I was driving my new to me ride home. It... was an overall pleasant experience. However, I asked that the car get detailed and serviced. Not very certain that either happened. Other than that it was a good experience.
Our salesman, Dave Harford, made the buying process so smooth and hassle-free. We can’t say enough good things about Beechmont Subaru and the two cars... we’ve purchased there over the years.
Daryl: I’d call it a 10. Excellent. Start to finish. When Jesse Storm realized I’d been working with Dave Harford (I thought it was Brad) he immediately... put me with Dave, and I was treated with respect and GREAT support (even as he did his job of trying to sell me a car) as I went through the process of assessing the car’s suitability to me. In the end, it was not. However, I’m now shopping the Kenwood Dealers group and will absolutely use Dave again. I will tell also my friends about the positive experience I had.
I had been working with Tom Friesen to purchase a certified pre-owned 2017 Subaru Forrester that was on the lot. Immediately I noticed that the air conditioner... was not working, even though it has supposedly gone through a 100+ point inspection. Tom said he'd pull it off the lot right away, not let anyone else test drive or look at it, and have the air conditioner fixed in a few days and then we could purchase the car if we so chose. While the car was being fixed, I had a conversation with Tom on the phone about the price. We had not yet agreed on price, he had only told me what the purchase price was. I shared with Tom the research I had done on KBB and Autotrader. He immediately became angry and argumentative and acted like I was crazy for even suggesting we discuss price. I tried to hear his arguments because he did have some good points, but it was difficult because he was so rude in his delivery. Why a used car salesman would be frustrated or offended when a customer wants to discuss price is beyond me. Seems like a normal part of the job. The conversation ended with him telling me the dealership might come down a few hundred dollars, that'd he'd speak with the store manager and then call me back. I received a text message not much later saying he was leaving for the day and would be back in the morning. The next morning, instead of following up with me on the price, he sent a text stating that he sold the car to someone else. I contacted the sales manager, Alex Ertel, to express my frustration that Tom never returned our call about price and my disappointment that Tom was dishonest, telling us no one else would have the opportunity to look at the car while it was being repaired. Alex didn't say much, mostly just made thin excuses. It was clear that Tom had only given him half the story, and he wasn't much interested in listening to what I had to say. My husband and I also expressed our disappointment to Tom about the way we were treated. He texted back blaming Alex for our mistreatment. We did not get an apology from anyone at Beechmont Subaru, only pointing of fingers and poor excuses. I will be purchasing a Subaru, but I will not be purchasing from Beechmont Subaru. I will not work with a salesman who gets angry and acts rude for no reason, makes and breaks promises, and acts dishonestly. And I will not work with a company who stands behind their employees behaving in this manner.
We were seeking a new Forester, a specific and hard to find combo of features/colors etc that hadn't yet gotten to US shores. I reached a deal with salesperson... Aneesh, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and above all honest. It was a pleasure dealing with him. Unfortunately, we had to turn to another dealer where the car we needed quickly was on the inbound list. I'd contact Aneesh and Beechmont again in an instant, next time I shop for a Subaru. (The cars.com review system twice "ate my homework" so I hope I don't end up with three of these reviews posted--my apologies if that turns out to be the case.
