Where to begin my praise for Westcott Mazda? Great integrity, up front style and non commission sales staff was defiantly among the top factors that made... me purchase my car from the oldest Mazda dealer in San Diego. It no wonder theye been around for over forty years. I bought a Mazda 3 hatchback and couldn be happier. I decided to go the savvy route and filled out a price quote request thru westcottmazda.com. No sooner than I did that I had Alex from internet sales call me. It was literally within a minute from me pushing the send button. I was so impressed. I booked an appointment and went down there. Alex walked me thru the sales process step by step, and never pressured me. They gave me what I was asking for my trade, and just blew me away with their service. I really liked how at the end Alex helped me pair my iphone and took a picture handing me the keys to my new car. The picture is now on Westcott Mazda Facebook page. I just thought that was so original. I telling everyone I know that is even considering a car to visit Alex and his great staff!
I had been to a couple of other dealers, between trying to sell me $4,000 in dealer accessory add-ons, and not applying my trade in equity properly to... the deal, I felt that I could not trust them. I was so glad to deal with Eddie in your sales dept.. He stood by the numbers in an online quote, valued my trade fairly, and I am now a happy Mazda owner. I had never been to a Mazda Service Center before. Since I could purchase vehicles, I have always owned European cars. As a first time customer, I was... amazed at how awesome the experience was. The customer service is at Westcott Mazda over at National City is top notch. Both the parts and service department go out of their way to give customers a top notch experience. While they may not have all the thrills and frills (Expensive sofas and snacks and such) of the super expensive dealers, they certainly make up for it in genuine customer service. They put forth a lot of effort ensuring the customer is happy. Their mechanics, by what I saw are always working, and not socializing or wasting time. They value your time and aim to get you in and out as soon as possible. They genuinely want you to be happy about being a Mazda owner-I certainly am! I will be coming back to Westcott Mazda for sure.
The dealership was topnotch. Edwin went above and beyond to make sure we purchased the car we most comfortable with. He gave us suggestions and advise,... but was in no way pushy what so ever. After we decided on the car the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. I would recommend Edwin Vasquez to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle. Fantastic place, great customer service !!!

They'll treat you perfectly fine while you are there shopping, but run some backend and unauthorized transactions with your credit a month after you purchase.... They'll then claim they have no idea what your talking about or simply ignore your calls. They have no interest in maintaining customer satisfaction and you can expect that the goal trickles from the top because General Manager, Kaz Amiraslani or his staff below him Henry and PJ wont return your calls and then claim they spoke with you when in fact the only person who might call you is Kim, the lady who handles DMV paperwork. If this is "The Mazda Experience" it sounds like Masamichi Kogai and his board members in Irvine have some work to do and I plan to make sure they know the type of representation the boys in National City are providing their brand.
As soon as we drove in the service area, the staff took care of us. Waiting time was good. It is nice that the washed the car for us. Overall experience... was pleasant.
