In our 25 years of owning cars, we have ALWAYS been devoted Chevy muscle car owners, never thinking of actually owning a Ford product. That is until we fell in love with the Shelby Cobra Mustang.... and so our search began for the perfect one. After visiting all the Ford dealers in the local area, we found our way back to Patrick Burke and the team at Don Chalmers in Rio Rancho. I myself have been in the business of customer service for over 18 years and have always believed that customers should NEVER be an inconvenience. No matter what, always take care of them! Patrick was a true example of how to take care of people. He was very helpful and went out of his way to really WOW us! His detail in listening to our needs instead of "telling" us what he could do, is truly what made the difference. That evening when my husband and I decided to purchase our "first" Ford, we walked in the dealership door 30 minutes before closing and the team at Don Chalmers went out of their way to get us in our new car that night, without hesitation! Kudos also goes out to the guys in the shop (sorry I don't remember all your names) who detailed out our car, set up the sync, etc. all while having a great time! Even though it was VERY late and I'm sure they had places to be. As we drove away that night, my husband and I made comment to how many cars we had bought throughout the years and never had we felt as satisfied, the night we drove away from Don Chalmers with our new "toy". Thanks again from your new dedicated customers, we will be back again!

I am a U.S. Army Reservist, just returning from a deployment in SW Asia, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I sold my vehicle prior to deploying (to lessen the responsibilities of my family should something happen to me), and needed another when returning. I contacted Don Chalmers Ford by e-mail 4 months out from returning home--Ms. Amy Gonzales was so helpful and encouraging to me as I tried to plan for resuming civilian life, amid a lot of stress and duties in a combat zone. The new car sales manager (Mr. Storz and all the staff has been so supportive and their patriotism lightened my inner stresses of making the transition from war to our much-loved "American Way" at home. I have been dealing with Don Chalmers for five years. (since I moved here from South Florida.) This is the 4th vehicle I have purchased from them. I will wait a year for Don Chalmers to get in the vehicle I am looking to purchase before I would go to another delearship. My experience with Don Chalmers has been excellent without absolutely not one flaw. I have not experienced that type of customer service EVER in my entire adult life in any type of service. Very happy working with Lee Bates. We would purchase another vehicle from him again!! He was knowledgeable about our vehicle and we got a great deal on the vehicle itself. He is honest and straightforward, and there is no pressure to purchase something that is out of your price range. Then when we had a little hiccup with service afterward on the vehicle I called him and he helped facilitate getting the problem fixed. Lee is simply the best to work with. I have bought two cars over the past five years from Chalmer's Ford because of Mr. Frank Cordova. I most recently purchased a truck after four visits to Chalmer's over a year's time. Frank is a professional salesman who always places the interests of his customers first and never rushes a sale. He is patient, listens and wants his customers to own a car that is right for them. He is very knowledgable about Ford products and is always available for questions on or off the job. He made my two car purchases exciting and free of worry. I consider him a friend...I trust him.

My husband and I have had the best car buying experience's with Don Chalmers Ford. We have been friend's (customer's) of Ken Willard for about 10 years now and I can't say that i've ever met a more pleasant,friendly and hardworking salesman. We have purchased our last 4 vehicles from Ken and we send our friends to him too. We wouldn't ever think of going to someone else. What really made our friendship stand out is that Ken Willard is a man of God and each and every time we have drove off in our new car he prays for and with us. I just wanted to take a minute, which I hardly do, and tell you what a great service experience I had. Franlou was great! I was expecting to rent a car since Bob Turners told me they did not provide loaner cars even though the repair was a warranty issue. I expected that since I buy $50k trucks, I would get a little courtesy. After calling around, I found that Don Chalmers felt they could get me back on the road much faster than anyone else. I decided to make the trip out west. Since I was expecting all dealerships to be equal I felt I would probably need to rent a car while mine was in the shop. When I called three different enterprise offices for a car and could not find one, I had to climb back in my truck and leave till I could find a rental. Fran called me a couple hours later and told me he had a loaner if I needed it and that the shop was open so I could come get it. That saved me a ton of time, hassle and money. I have learned that all dealerships are not created equal! I bought a truck at Don Chalmers years ago when I lived in Rio Rancho. I was impressed by the whole delivery process then. Even though I moved to a location that is closer to other ford dealerships, I am defiantly bringing my truck and my cash to Don Chalmers in the future. I am happy to see that even in this difficult economy where everybody is cutting back, there is still a sense of courtesy for customers at Don Chalmers. Thank you Don, thank you Fran. I WILL be back!
