Purchased a 2025 Ranger in May 2025 and was promised 3

Purchased a 2025 Ranger in May 2025 and was promised 3 free oil changes. Bates Ford scheduled my first oil change for the end of August. Since I don't drive the truck much, I canceled the service and was told I can reschedule for a later date. I recently went in for my first oil change and was told I don't have the 3 free oil changes. Buyer beware of sales promises. Their word means nothing, and unfortunately, I thought it was documented, but it wasn't. Won't recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. On a positive note, the service group seems reputable.

I was truly Blessed dealing with these folks at Bates Ford. From the receptionist, to the outstanding salesman going above and beyond while helping compare models and finally the management team who set the terms to put me into my dream ride!! What a Great Team of folks at Tony Bates Ford!

I purchased my f150 lariat from Bates.

I purchased my f150 lariat from Bates. Tommy Shorter. I have been very pleased with it! I recently needed a new water pump. I’m very pleased with the workmanship. Jared Turner waited on me in the service dept. He was very good at keeping me informed on the diagnosis of my issue. And the repair. He called me soon as it was ready for pickup. The repair was done in a timely manner Thanks Bates Ford!!!!😀

Went in on 11/12/25 to get my oil changed and the service

Went in on 11/12/25 to get my oil changed and the service rep said I needed rear brake pads replaced which I agreed to do. I was quoted a price at the time I agreed to have the work done. When I went to the cashier to pay, I was charged over $50 more than what was quoted. They said it was b/c of “shop supplies”. I have no issue but given the fact that they charged me $430 for an oil change and rear break pads, I feel that this should have been mentioned prior to me agreeing to have the work done. Also, $199 for 30 minutes worth of labor is a little ridiculous in my opinion. Although I appreciate the work auto mechanics do, replacing brake pads is not open heart surgery.

We had a great experience with Bates Ford and Mr. Scott Dickens. We plant to return to purchase a vehicle for my wife and I look forward to using their service department for my new truck.

Came to look at a Mustang that I saw online, while there

Came to look at a Mustang that I saw online, while there I looked at trucks. looked at Rangers first then a couple of Mavericks. I told the salesman the Mustang was a want, but a truck was a need. My wife and left and talked about it. We started looking at more trucks and looked a the Mavrick again online, the one we purchase. The salesman was fantastic to work with. Not sure about recommending to any one
