Bates Ford

Just had vehicle serviced. Not the one I bought there though. I worked in a few Ford dealerships service depts.for over 40 years as a tech, Srv advisor, mgr. When I pulled up into the service drive several advisors that were not busy just looked out at me and no one came out to greet this customer. I was amazed at the lack of customer service at that point. I was told it was going to be a longer than normal wait do to the work load, and I understood. But not once did my advisor come and keep me updated. I asked another advisor and he was kind and professional enough to help move my vehicle thru the process. There was some confusion as to where my vehicle was. Once that was figured out he ramroded it thru and KEPT ME UPDATED! So this 5 star rating is solely based on the advisor that stepped up! I have never seen such an uncaring group except one individual in my entire career. No motivation, no drive. I loved my purchase experience here but in service dept the customer service is seriously lacking. A Ford oval award for this service dept is NOT in their future at this time.

No negotiation whatsoever, we overpaid close to $5000 for our vehicle. They sensed we needed a vehicle immediately and took advantage of it. 800+ credit score no debt and still got a crappy interest rate with Ford Credit. The salesman was OK, but the finance manager was a tool.

Great sales personnel. Service dept rude and abrupt. I guess they don't have to be friendly since we already bought vehicle. There are 2 other Ford dealers nearby who will be grateful for my service needs.
