They staff was wonderful throughout the process. I was having difficulty with the bank on the processing of the amount of check to be cut. The dealership was patient until we got it figured out.

Amazing Experience!!
This was my first major car purchase, so I was really nervous about everything. Before coming here, I had some bad experiences with super pushy salesmen at other dealerships so that made things extra nerve-wracking. From start to finish, the employees at Southern Auto were professional, kind, and courteous! They took the time to explain everything to me and I got to test drive the vehicle overnight to make sure that it was a good fit. Great Buy-Great Vehicle
I just bought the Jeep Gladiator that I have been waiting for for over 3 plus years. Bought it at Southern Jeep in Chesapeake. My sales rep was Ed Mac, a guy that I could relate with and now call a friend: treated me with respect and honesty. They and he did their job looking out both for me as well as doing what they needed to do for their company.

Not necessarely an honest deal
After a hassle free dealing over the final price for a used van, unfortunately I was misled into agreeing to a "no-extra-cost Protection Package deal", which still would have cost me $699.00. I was told this Pro-Pack would be a "free Manager Special". Then I was told an extended 7/70,000 Bumper to Bumper-warranty would only cost me $10.00 extra per month, which would have meant to me $360.00 for my 36 month loan. The actual cost of $2300.00 was not mentioned at this point and only showed up on the yellow finance statement form later on. My initial OTD price of $20,000 was actually over $24,000 including, of course, the 2.9% finance charge of $1058.00. Needless to say, after I signed the deal, I noticed the discrepancy and returned with my paperwork to have the numbers corrected to reflect the stipulated purchase price of $20,000. I have to say that the director of the financing department Mike C. was really courteous and rectified the contract smoothly without further complications. But, as a long-time customer of your dealership, I was certainly not pleased with this sneaky attempt to squeeze more money out of me.

With the help of Kevin Jones he was able to match me with a vehicle that best suited the needs that I described to him and it only took him a matter of minutes!
