I live in Kansas City and work keeps me busy so I didn't have much time to waste bartering between dealerships. I found what I wanted on the website and worked with Josh to strike a rough agreement to ensure my trip to Lawrence would be worth while. They honored their offer for my trade-in and I was able to wrap up my business the very next day. Everyone I encountered at the dealership was friendly and professional.

Our Mazda was taken in on January 22nd. We had general service completed but reported a noise from passenger rear---sounded just like the driver side when the shock had deaden out. Was told it wasn't the shock, and a "bushing" had to be ordered. Called February 17th--told the part was ordered and just hadn't come in. Called February 28th was told, by Jamie Prager, the part had actually not been ordered and should be there Monday. Took the car in Tuesday, came back with same noise. Had to take Steve Smacznaik for a ride so he could listen to noise. He diagnosed a bad shock--same thing I inquired about back on January 22nd. Was told on January 22nd by Jamie, that if it was a shock that could cause poor tire wear--but since it wasn't I was fine to travel on it. However, it was a shock and so I inquired about tire wear with Steve. Said he would check--no direct answer to tire wear question. Finally when the shock was replaced, I went to pick up the car and who ever drove it left a dirty/empty white Styrofoam coffee cup in the cup holder. If I would have put a customer through the events of the last month and a half, I would have made sure the care was ready to go. Not leave trash in it. Not to mention the sticker that was put in our car for our next date of service says 7-16-14. We've always been told by this service department that we should change our oil every 3,000 miles/ 3 months. So now, I can't even trust that reminder sticker and information is correct!

The staff was really friendly and attentive. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our needs were met. The staff stayed late on a Saturday night to make our sale possible.

We worked with Jerry Hall to find the perfect new car for my daily back and forth commute of around 75 miles. The experience was painless and most of the information was handled over the phone so I wouldn’t have to take any time off of work. Jerry, stayed late to close the deal so that my wife wouldn’t have to take any time from work and had us in and out in short order. We will be going back to Jerry for our next car or truck.

Service was an oil change at the attached Quick Lane facility. I especially appreciate being allowed to inspect the underbody while on the lift. The mechanic observed a very slight lube seepage at the front of the differential. Through his sharp observation, I was able to schedule a minor repair at the adjoining dealership garage, avoiding a potential road problem. This is also a show car, and gets a complete underbody judging at national shows, and leak and messcould have really messed us up in the tally.

I had a great experience with Laird Noller, especially...

I had a great experience with Laird Noller, especially the salesman, Sean Isaacs. I started my car shopping experience with them when I was still researching what make/model/year I really wanted in a preowned. I asked for a car they did not have but Sean started showing me a totally different car. It was new and not in my budget but they made it so tempting I was considering it. However, I left without buying a car and went home to keep looking. But after doing lots more research and going to different car dealerships in the greater Kansas City area I went back to Laird Noller because of one person, Sean. He corrresponded with me during my search over 3 months and when I knew what I really wanted and told him he let me know when he got in 4 preowned Ford Escapes. He definately accommodated my schedule - staying late on a Saturday eve, and allowed me time to test drive each one and make up my mind. He helped me weigh the pros and cons of each one and listened to my preferences. When I decided on my Escape it was after hours and he still made it possible (by asking different financial people to stay late). There was no bargaining ability but the carfax on the car showed me it was a good price. Sean was the one to wash it for me since it was that new to the lot and no one was there to wash it. He went above and beyond for me and I really appreciated it. I love my Escape and will now make Laird Noller my choice for our future cars for our family of 5!

I was very impressed with the salesman's...

I was very impressed with the salesman's (Robert's) desire to sell me a car that worked for me and my needs regardless of the fact that it was a Ford dealership and I was avoiding Ford brand vehicles. We gave him a list of vehicles from the website we wanted to view, and he talked about or showed us each vehicle on the list without straying from those and similar cars. He was also very understanding about my desire to shop my way and at my own pace, and with my total lack of experience and knowledge in the car buying field. Cody, who assisted and stepped in for information purposes at times, was less accommodating to my desire to buy a non Ford vehicle; he tried to convince me to lease a new Ford, a situation for which the only appealing aspect was the lower monthly payments, and his attempts to sell me on that route felt like he was trying to confuse us into submission without regard to my needs, to get a Ford sold, which made me question my decision to work with them at all before I ultimately bought the Honda I was looking at. They also sold me a Honda with 80,000 miles on it and refused to change the timing belt, and Cody seemed condescending and rude when we addressed that issue in the buying process. But overall I had a good experience.
