I had a very frustrating experience with Hubler Ford in Shelbyville. My experience actually started with a previous vehicle I purchased from them that became inoperable within just three weeks, which was already concerning. With my current vehicle, I brought it in for ongoing issues with the fuel system that were present at the time of purchase and were supposed to be fixed. Instead of resolving the problem, they replaced a purge valve, and since then the issues have actually gotten worse. Now I’m being told I may be responsible for additional repairs on the same issue that was never properly fixed in the first place. I’ve also repeatedly asked for my OBD diagnostic results and have not been provided with them, which makes it difficult to understand what was actually done to my vehicle. On top of that, I had a tire that kept going flat multiple times, and another shop quickly found a nail that was missed, which raises concerns about how thorough inspections are. Overall, I feel like my concerns haven’t been taken seriously, the original issue wasn’t resolved, and communication has been lacking. I would strongly recommend getting all promises in writing and requesting full diagnostic documentation upfront if you choose to work with them. Better yet save your money and go somewhere else.

I’m sharing my experience after purchasing not one, but two vehicles—and unfortunately, both situations have been frustrating and disappointing. The first vehicle I purchased lasted only about three weeks before it completely broke down. That alone was concerning, but I gave the dealership another chance, hoping it was just bad luck. With the second vehicle, I was promised that issues with the fuel system would be diagnosed and properly fixed. Instead, I’ve been given inconsistent information, no clear documentation, and now I’m being told I may be responsible for additional repairs that haven’t even been definitively confirmed as the actual problem. Despite significant work supposedly being done, I still don’t have proper diagnostic reports or proof of what was actually repaired. On top of that, there have been other concerning oversights—like a tire repeatedly going flat that turned out to have a nail in it, something another shop identified immediately. That raises serious concerns about the thoroughness of inspections overall. Communication has been lacking, accountability feels nonexistent, and I’ve had to chase down basic answers that should have been provided upfront. When you’re making a major purchase like a vehicle, you expect transparency, reliability, and follow-through—and that simply hasn’t been my experience here. At this point, I feel stuck dealing with unresolved issues that were supposed to be handled from the start. I would strongly encourage others to ask detailed questions, request full documentation, and be cautious before trusting that promised repairs will actually be completed properly.
