New Traverse Lease

Prior to coming to Crane I had visited various other Dealers of alternative makes - Ford, Toyota and Kia. Before even looking at Models - the environment on the sales floor was much, much better. Then, the actual attention received and Help from the Sale Professional - Angel Cartagena was excellent. A much better buying process as well. I would have no problem in recommending him, as well as Crane.

The people at Crane were raised properly!

We had just come from one of the typical shark infested dealerships, where you must struggle to leave amidst the harangue of barking salesmen. At Crane, we were met at the door by a fine young man. At such a young age; a gentleman. The atmosphere in this immaculate showroom was calm, friendly and relaxed. The young salesman knew his products well and explained them thoroughly. There was no pressure, nor urgency to make a commitment. Test drives were more extensive than the typical jolt around the block. Price negotiations were fair, reasonable and conducted in a manner of mutual respect. Color non-availabilty issues were solved overnight and the car we wanted was sitting reay to go the next evening. Credit issues were dealt with successfully and the closing paperwork was as painless as one could hope for. Overall, the experience was one which many of us wish for, but rarely get; it was genuine. It felt right. I expressed these remarks to the business manager, who responded, “it’s deliberate. It’s how we would want to be treated.” Crane Chevrolet gets an A+++

Worst Experience EVER

Purchased a used 2007 Ford 150 from Crane Chevrolet 999 Route 46, Clifton NJ 07013. Within 2 weeks found the motor to be bad. This was determined to be the case by a Ford dealer, as the Crane Chevrolet service dept. couldn't find an issue with truck after seeing this video AND after having the truck for 4 days. Crane offered me a remanufactured Jasper motor which they wanted me to pay HALF for. $3500. The Jasper motor is $4600, and then $1000 back for the core. So about $3500 for motor. At a Jasper certified installer, the total job is about $7000. Crane Chevy wanted to do the job in house, thus saving the cost on labor, getting the core money back, and having me pay $3000. They did not want to pay half to have a certified Jasper installer do the job. Crane Chevy has my truck for 14 days now. Ive had in my possession for 29. No rental car. No loaner car. No offer of either.

Your vehicle was purchased from Crane on 6/28/14 with 94,487 miles, and at time of purchase, you signed documentation advising this vehicle was sold and disclosed “As Is No Warranty” and you refused the offer to purchase an extended warranty. In terms of the service timeline – you brought your truck into Crane Service on 8/1/14, at 97,082 miles, which equates to 2595 miles driven after your purchase. Initially, we did not hear the noise as described by you, but we kept the vehicle to perform further diagnosis. Your truck was run for 4 hours on site, and our Shop Foreman drove it for another hour, without hearing any noise. The problem was finally identified after we were able to reach you 4 days later, and asked you to demonstrate how the noise occurred. You took your vehicle off our site, and when you brought it back, running hot, the noise was apparent. We then brought your vehicle to a local Ford dealer, at our expense, to confirm our engine replacement diagnosis. The Ford dealer also advised this particular motor has a history of repairs. We also had a Jasper representative on site to confirm the engine replacement diagnosis. The Crane repair bill of $7100.00, using a Jasper engine, mirrored the cost you claim at Jasper, and, Crane Chevrolet offered to pay 60%. It doesn’t appear Jasper offered you this same discount. Just to be clear, Crane Chevrolet is a certified installer of Jasper engines. This engine also comes with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty. Considering you purchased the vehicle “As Is No Warranty”, and you refused an extended warranty, we believe we were more than fair to offer paying 60% of the engine replacement. We stand by our thorough diagnosis.

Leased a vehicle in 2011 and have had nothing but issues with the dealership. Vehicle was recalled twice for airbag issues and twice they broke my seat causing many trips for repairs, parts assessment, etc. one time they gave me a loaner that was from a car rental place that was disgusting and dirty. when I asked about it the car rental driver left me and my children stranded on route 23. I have been getting the runaround from the dealership in trying to have someone answer for all the issues but no luck. they have my money and I can't wait to turn the car in. i'm going to contact Corporate and although I know it won't solve anything perhaps it will save someone else.

Your vehicle service history with us consists of five warranty visits. Your experience from July 2013 with the rental agency was resolved by us contacting another agency on your behalf. We are currently unaware of any unresolved issues, repair or otherwise.

Good people and good deals at Crane.

Both your salesman and finance manager were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, courteous, diligent, and trustworthy. I never ever thought I'd own a Chevy, but now I do, thanks to Nick and Joe.

Great price and personnel, awesome customerservice

Despite the numerous, unintended issues that came up during our delivery, the staff at Crane, specifically Khalid and Joe, did everything possible to accommodate my needs while still satisfying the dealer requirements and honoring all the terms of my deal. Khalid even gave me a tour of the facility and followed up with a phone call to see how I was liking my brand new Impala (LOVE IT!). During the negotiation process over the internet and phone, Steve was very accessible, knowledgable, and straightforward - giving me his bottom line best price on a lease right out of the gates and blowing the competition out of the water. At Crane, you really feel like they want your business but more importantly, that they value you as a customer. Because of this, I will go out of my way to service my vehicle here, even if I pass five other dealerships on the way. I look forward to returning to Crane not just for vehicle maintenance but for business in the future.

easy to do business with and a great clean faciity

They got my car in for service immediately and got me done within an hour and a half. The service writer was very professional and curtious.
