Smooth & Fast Purchase

Great Guys That Made a Minor Miracle
Let me start out by saying that I am not the easiest customer to deal with, I can flat out be a pain in the posterior region especially when I become impatient. The Folks at Mercedes of North Olmsted Ohio (Collection Auto Group) have been nothing short of Saints in dealing with me. I decided to trade in a 2012 BMW X6 with low mileage after I decided I wanted a faster more enjoyable ride. It just so happens that living in my apt. building was a very energetic young man whom the dealership has been grooming to be a first class salesman. This young man: Garrett Blaha had spent some time in convincing me to jump over to my first ever Mercedes (a C63 Coupe). After a short test drive and a bit of Garrett's youthful tenacity, I was quite ready to pull the trigger. Note: This kid is one to watch, he's likely to own the place before he's 30 ;) I was then introduced to Scott Ragland (Sales Manager) who tried to find me a car all over the USA to trade. He tried various dealers and met with no success due to my pickiness and requirement of "No test drive miles". Scott, offered me a deal I couldn't refuse... so, obvioulsy I ordered my car (my specs) at a great price (which made it easy). Scott was a gentleman and patient with me during the search / ordering of my C63. I then had the great pleasure of dealing with Pete Mapp, General Manager (after Scott was away on vacation). Pete is an extremely pleasant man who is easily accessible with an "Open Door Policy" which is very unusual for a GM. Pete tolerated every question, equipment change and issue I brought to his doorstep. It's very obvious why he's at the helm. He's probably my all time favorite person in the luxury automobile industry. Which brings me to Bernie Moreno, Owner of Collection Auto Group and the leader of these great guys. Bernie is always available to a customer with an issue or question. He doesn't hide from customers in a back office... he sits right on the showroom floor in an office with a glass wall and is easily approachable. He has put together a first class team and can recognize talent when he sees it in his friends and employees... Bravo Bernie. My first Mercedes (a 2012 C63 Coupe) will soon be in my hands. The Minor Miracle i mentioned was pulled off by Scott Ragland. After getting on the phone with a rep from Mercedes, Scott was able to have my car on a ship after only ONE DAY ! The car went from B5 to C2 in two days... Unbelievable!!! If you really want to buy that C63 and want to enjoy every moment of the experience, I highly recommend all the guys at Mercedes North Olmsted Ohio. Your money will be well spent and you'll never regret spending it.

I had a classic Mercedes serviced here and because of their complete lack of knowledge and/or appreciation for the classic MBZ I spent far more money than I should have and came away with a mediocre result. I also leased two MBZ from this dealership in 2008 and that experience was fine. The sales rep left the dealership and I found myself being contacted by Harry Baker and Scott Ragland as these leases came near an end. Can you imagine making an appointment to see a Salesman? Well that's what it took and when I arrived the first time I stood waiting for Mr. Baker for 45 minutes while he chatted with others. I left, since he had set an appointment, I was timely, and was not served. Next, Mr. Ragland called me and I explained what had happened. He set an appointment for a Saturday and I showed up to meet him at the appointed time. Result? He had taken the day off. Well, the Leases came to an end. I bought one of the cars outright and that transaction was handled direct with Mercedes Financial. The other, an ML350 was turned in at lease end. That experience was like the previous two. Although I had an appointment no one was available although there were plenty of people hanging around Bernie's door xxxxxxx up. Finally I got irritated and made some noise. They found the young fellow whom I had the appointment with. He had been at lunch in another building and expressed his irritation at being bothered. I took note of his youth and the enormous Breitling watch on his wrist and all that conveys. I decided then and there that we were done with Bernie Moreno and his crew of sycophants. I moved on and have since purchased or leased 6 other vehicles. Beware any organization that thinks they are the star of the show instead of the customer.

Pleased
I spend over 7 hours at this used car dealership; normally, this would by grueling, frustrating, and horrible. However, that was not the case at this dealership. I particularly worked with salesmen Mitch and Dave. They were great. I was able to find a great used car with extremely low miles. As my wait was long (trying to locate a particular truck), the dealership treated me to lunch and were reponsive to any of my questions. I am glad I stopped by this location, after-al buying a luxury car should be a luxury experience-here it certainly was. I will certainly recommend Mitch and Dave to others.

My soon-to-be-wife and I were in the market for a Mercedes GLK350. We went to MB of North Olmsted and they were great. There were some difficulties getting the right color combination but we were very picky in what we wanted. They were very helpful and empathetic to our needs and wants. If you go, you won't be disappointed. Ask for Ceil or Scott! They were the team that helped us out and would highly recommend them.

I got a 2011 ML450 Hybrid. The dealership went out of their way to get this vehicle for me from out of state. They were in short supply at the time. The process was fantastic from beginning to end and the service since has been great. Even though I live closer to two other Mercedes dealers, I would not go anywhere else.

Our family has bought 2 vehicles from Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted and we've had complete satisfaction from them. All of the sales associates, especially Gabe and Nick are very courteous and knowledgeable. We got great deals on both vehicles we bought; a 2005 E500 and a 2007 ML350. The service at this dealership is also excellent. Everything is done promptly, professionally, and with care. I would and have recommended this dealership for years. Especially if you're a returning customer, you're part of the family at MBNO.

All I kept hearing was that they are from Boston, they don't know how it works in my city/state, service was mediocre at best. I'm just hoping that I dont' regret buying my first Mercedes Benz from this dealership. I have service scheduled again soon so we'll see how that goes. I'm giving them one more chance!
