Apparently Google Reviews is not to be relied on for honest reviews) I purchased a vehicle from Hamilton Chevrolet largely because I was told it came with warranty coverage for engine and transmission issues up to 100,000 miles. Having that warranty was one of the main reasons I agreed to buy the car. The first time I experienced engine problems, the dealership performing the repairs informed me that the warranty apparently only applied to the original owner and was not actually valid for me as a secondary owner. That was the first time I learned there was a serious issue with the warranty I had been relying on when I bought the vehicle. Despite being told the warranty did not actually apply to me, Hamilton Chevrolet still paid for the repairs at that time because they were honoring the warranty they had sold me with the vehicle. When I later experienced additional engine problems, instead of standing behind what they sold me, I dealt with ignored phone calls, conflicting explanations, and a complete lack of communication. To make matters worse, I later discovered the vehicle had previously received an engine replacement before I purchased it, something that was never disclosed to me when I specifically asked about the car’s history and possible issues before buying it. The entire experience left me feeling completely misled and cheated out of thousands of dollars. I purchased this vehicle believing I had warranty protection for major engine problems, only to later learn the warranty apparently was never valid for me in the first place because I was not the original owner. When I went in to talk to them in person since they would not return my phone calls, with the bill from my repairs, they were more angry about my review than they were concerned about righting their wrong. The manager barely glanced at my warranty paperwork and said "Oh, that's expired". Even though my paperwork clearly states that it was still valid, if he had cared to read it. But yes, the warranty was expired because they sold me an expired warranty. I've since met numerous people who have had very similar experiences with Hamilton Chevrolet. Though the reviews would fool people into believing this place was on the up and up......just like they fooled me into trusting Hamilton Chevrolet in the first place.

Excellent service did not get any repairs. Least a new car. Looked at the trailblazer the tracks and the equinox and I chose the equinox I am very happy with my car.

Honestly, Subpar visit. Keith at the service check-in dinged my door and separated the paint / chipped the edging along the door. I brought it to his attention, seemed very smug about me calling it out. Proceeded to tell me it would be taken care of and it never was. Upon seeing 3 other people waiting in line at the desk. I decided my time was better spent not being there. Kevin in service was also very ?funny? with comments made to me and to fellow workers. Jokes made about the previous customer and then jokes made about my departure didn?t sit well. However, I guess that?s the best they can get at this location. Returning customer due to convenience of location not but choice or desire.
