Keith at Village Ford in Dearborn was absolutely outstanding to work with. From start to finish, he made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, honest, patient, and never made me feel pressured at any point. He took the time to answer every question, explained everything clearly, and went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It’s rare to find someone in car sales who is this professional, responsive, and easy to work with. If you’re looking for a vehicle, I highly recommend asking for Keith at Village Ford Dearborn. Truly a top-notch experience.

I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Village Ford and feel it’s important to share my experience with other customers. I scheduled a service appointment online regarding an extra spare key and programming. The next day, Marissa from the service department called to discuss the issue. During that call, I explained the situation and she told me I could drop the vehicle off after hours if needed. At no point during that conversation was any diagnostic fee mentioned. After I dropped off the vehicle, Marissa later called me with a quote of $600 for a spare key and programming—$300 for the key and $300 for labor. I felt this price was extremely high, especially considering I was able to have the exact same service completed at another Ford dealership for $295 total. When I told her I would not be proceeding with the service and that I would come pick up my vehicle, I was surprised to learn that she refused to release my car unless I paid a $175 diagnostic fee. She claimed this fee had been discussed previously, which was not accurate. The only reason my vehicle was eventually released was because I requested to speak with a manager and mentioned that the phone conversation could be reviewed to confirm that no such fee had been explained. This experience felt very unprofessional and concerning. I believe the dealership ownership or partners may not be aware of how customers are being treated or how pricing is being handled within the service department. Transparency, fair pricing, and clear communication should be standard when dealing with customers. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would encourage others to carefully confirm pricing and policies before leaving their vehicle with this service department

Dealer response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate the feedback and are sorry for the frustration this situation caused. After reviewing the situation, it appears there was a miscommunication regarding the diagnostic fee. Our team did provide a quote for the spare key and programming, but you were not charged the diagnostic fee for that quote. We believe this was a missed communication between Marisa and yourself when discussing the appointment. Once the misunderstanding was brought to our attention, we apologized and released the vehicle without charging the diagnostic fee. We always aim to be transparent and professional with our customers, and situations like this help us improve how we communicate service policies in the future. Your feedback has been shared with our service team so we can prevent similar misunderstandings moving forward. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope we have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

STAY AWAY! Scared to drive new vehicle after service. Very Poor Customer Service from Pete, service advisor. No communication unless prompted by me. Service advisors are just as unprofessional as they dress. No QA/QC and attention to detail. Commercial 2025 F250 came back with more things broken/not working. Tire pressures were not correct after oil change and "inspection". Asked for it to be fixed. Was fixed the second time incorrectly. Passenger window will not stay up after they "fixed" it. I do not think premium syn oil was used as I requested and paid for. Brakes were replaced on my 2025 truck under warranty due to visual pitting. Why wasn't this found in my previous brake inspections at 5k and 10k? Brakes were replaced and I do not think there were done properly. I fear for my family safety based upon the blatant disregard for quality at Village Ford. I will be having repairs certified inspected by another dealer. I suggest you do to!

No one answered the phone or called me back. After several attempts I finally was told the vehicle was sold and paid for in full. Nearly a week later it was still listed and robo Robbie said it was still available. Talked to a real person finally and they confirmed it was sold and awaiting a transporter. They need to get their xxxx together.

No problems with the work done, but they did the rear brakes I only told them I wanted fronts, and added an oil change I didn't need. I got my car back dirty, Tires covered in mounting greese hand prints everywhere. I spent 2,600 and was disappointed, poor form if you ask me. Everywhere I've ever gone they give you your car back clean.

Just purchased a 2025 Escape Hybrid from Village Ford. I've been a customer for close to forty years and have purchased many vehicles from them and have always used them for service. What can I say that hasn't already been said? This is THE best Ford dealership. Fantastic customer service, repairs done efficiently and correctly the first time, excellent and honest sales people and service advisors (Mark O'Bryant and Jim Burton for example). Also kudos to Ford Motor Company for taking care of their customers, including no charge for loaner vehicles and no charges for certain very expensive repairs even after warranty expiration. Highly recommended!
