The absolute worst car buying experience I’ve ever had.

The absolute worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. I drove 3 hours to test drive the vehicle and immediately found an issue with the backup camera. I had asked them the day before to confirm everything was solid so I wouldn’t waste a 6-hour round trip. They assured me everything was 100%. They also had appraised my ‘21 Lexus IS 350 trade-in at over $29K using my VIN and multiple detailed photos. The day of my visit they dropped my trade value to $24K, over a $5K difference from their original appraisal. The sales manager Josh was condescending, saying I sent car enthusiast-like photos, and then told me to go sell my car to CarMax because he didn’t even want it anymore. I later sold my car elsewhere for $30K. When reviewing numbers, I noticed they had increased the vehicle price from $26.8K to $28.5K. They denied it until I showed them a screenshot proving the original price, and only then agreed to honor it. Meanwhile, my pregnant wife and I were left waiting for hours while our Jeff handled other customers instead of passing us to available staff. After approval, they informed me the camera issue was actually an open recall and couldn’t be fixed that day — meaning I couldn’t even take the car home and would need to make another 6-hour trip due to their inspection failure. They refused to negotiate, refused to offer any consideration for my time, mileage, or their errors, and wouldn’t even check back with the manager. Days later, I agreed to buy at their firm price just to be done with it. They initially offered to bring the car closer, then backed out claiming I had to sign in person (despite notaries being available everywhere). I made the trip again, only to be hit with an additional out-of-state paperwork fee not included in the agreed out-the-door price or loan. When I got home, the recall still wasn’t fixed. They told me to take it to a local dealer, no apology, no ownership. My license plates also took over two months and multiple follow-ups from my end. I have so much more to say with details about everything that happened in this whole experience, it just simply doesn’t fit in this space. Their internet sales reps were the only respectable people in this process Zero accountability, no remediating action bait-and-switch trade appraisal, poor communication, and completely unprofessional treatment from start to finish. Avoid this dealership at all costs

sales part of the dealership is amazing had no issues

sales part of the dealership is amazing had no issues service part of the dealership also no issues,. Body shop absolutely terrible overspray all over my car when I brought it in for them to repair it and they didn't even repair it the right way nonstop dealing with it on my own because I don't trust them then right and I somehow have to get Overspray off my rear windshield rear wheel rear tail light pretty much everywhere. Do not go to the body shop there

Sara at metro ford was kind and courteous with excellent

Sara at metro ford was kind and courteous with excellent communication skills and very helpful in helping me look for another vehicle.. there was no pressure and her efforts to find exactly what was looking for were top notch!

I manage a large fleet in the Capital Region and needed a

I manage a large fleet in the Capital Region and needed a part for a HD Truck. After they sent the wrong part I went in to work with the Metro Parts department on finding the correct part. The words "less than helpful" are kind to describe the two parts people that were completely devoid of all customer service and personality. They said " it's going to take me a day to find this part" I found the part with a 2-minute internet search, and will no longer buy a ford product. Thank you

Had a problem with the business manager during the sales

Had a problem with the business manager during the sales I told him that there would be a payment due on my old truck on July 15th . He told me not to worry about it my old truck would be paid off the next day 7/8/2024 . On July 15 Ford credit took out $338.46 out of my account . He was little to no help with getting a refund back from Ford credit. If he had told me there maybe a problem I would have stopped at my bank on my way home and my auto pay. He never admitted it was his fault and also stopped answering my calls. I just received my refund 8/9/24 after many calls to Ford Credit. I purchased a new Ford Ranger XLT wish I hadnt now. I will not do business with them

My wife and I are both very disappointed with this

My wife and I are both very disappointed with this dealership after purchasing a 2024 Edge with a little over 4,000 miles on it. We were never told that it was a loaner and it was involved in an accident. We are seniors, and we placed our trust in the salesman to be straightforward with us regarding the history of the car. Obviously that was a big mistake. I wrote a letter to the owner 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive a response. I would advise anyone who plans to purchase a vehicle to avoid this dealership. L

Anthony is an outstanding salesman. Attention to detail, communication, punctuality, professionalism and care for his clients. I have purchased 6 car from him and have referred people to him also. The service center is also outstanding. Joe normally services my vehicle and is meticulous at his job. Attention to detail and gets the job done right the first time!
