Satisfied Customer

My car was totaled in a white out in January and now I needed antoher car. After searching the web and looking at dozens of cars on different sites I decided that Preferred Ford of Grand Haven was the place to go. I read the reviews that were posted and liked what I read. I was not disappointed. I got great service even after a mishap that had two of us buying the same car. The other person got the car but I got an even better deal on another car. They really do care about their customers. I have recommended and will continue to refer anyone looking for a vehicle, new or used, to Preferred Ford. Dave Niles and Federico Salazar went the extra mile for me. Thank guys

Maintenance on a 2008 Ford Taurus X

I had the 90,000 mile check up performed by Preferred Ford in Grand Haven, MI. In addition to an oil change and filter I had a tune up along with a needed radiator flush. It was discovered both belts had wear and cracks beginning to show. Both belts were replaced. I had the tires rotated and asked about wear. I was told not to worry because the tread was still sufficient. I was very satisfied with the work and could tell from driving the performance was improved. The technicians have always been honest with me and they don't perform any work that isn't required at the time. I have always felt confident working with Don Blackmer who is one of the service managers. We enjoy the Taurus X and hope to put many more miles on it.

Positive Pre-Owned Car Buying Experience

I planned well in advance for replacing our Ford Escape and stopped into Preferred Ford in June of 2013 explaining that in the first quarter of 2014 I would be ready to replace our vehicle. Mike St. Cyr helped us that evening by explaining some options for me to consider. True to my word, I got back in touch months later, and luckily Mike had put me into the system and remembered that I had been in during the summer. We discussed a few cars that I was interested in that Preferred had in their inventory, and Mike helped me think through the options and narrow it down to one. I really appreciated the opportunity to be able to have my mechanic look it over. To be thorough, I did compare it against two other similar cars from other dealerships. What really set the car apart from Preferred was the pedigree of the car. They knew exactly who had owned it, and had a good sense of how it was cared for, because the previous owner was also a customer of Preferred and had just gotten a new car from them. Once you compare a car like this against a used car with an unknown history, you realize the value of a car with a good pedigree and staff who dealt personally with the previous owner. My choice became clear, and the Preferred staff helped make it happen. I am grateful to the manager Dave who was very kind, Mike St Cyr, whose low-key approach was refreshing compared to other dealerships high pressure approach, and also to Jeff, the Finance Manager who took the time so that I could check my numbers against his. Thanks also to Cherie, for the additional assistance she provided, along with the welcoming attitude of the rest of the Preferred staff. I am very happy with the beautiful nearly new car that I just purchased from Preferred, knowing that it will be money well spent and is the perfect car for us. Many thanks to Preferred Ford for ending up with a car that I love.

New car purchase. Great salesman.

Just bought a new car. Our salesman Bill Fisher was great. He was kind, helpful and answered all our questions. The whole process was very professional. I would buy from this dealership again and from Bill. Great experience.

Great Customer Service!

Mr Fisher has been great so far in our looking of a new family car. I have quite the list of criteria I want met in our next new car, and he has been patient with me and understanding. He has also been very quick to answer all of our questions!!

Finally! A great local dealership

I took my car in for a 30K mile service appointment, but mistakingly called the wrong dealership to set up that appointment which was about an hour away instead of this one which was much closer. These guys took me on the spot, and called the other dealership for me to correct the error. I had a cover on the engine leaking and they notified me of that, which will be taken care of under warranty. Excellent customer service. These people appear to actually want to help you, where the dealership that is in my hometown is always a hassle over everything.

Fedeico is you one source car depot!

I was looking for a car but was never in a real hurry. For several months once of their sales team Fedeico Salazar, stayed engaged with me on any information I needed for the cars I was looking at online. Finally, when I was ready to purchase, the transition couldn?t have gone any smoother. When arriving, the entire team was very welcoming. I could feel the sincerity of them truly wanting to help me in any way they could so that i could walk away driving a new vehicle. Outstanding Service! I will continue to recommend them to anyone.

Poor Customer Service!

I just recently bought a 2008 Ford escape from this dealership. I have bought a car in the past from them. Then customer service was great. Now too say the least it has gown down since then. During the car buying process I felt like a burden. I also had to call them several times to get the process going. I then brought the vehicle to them to fix a thump in the rear end. I brought it back to them three different times and it still isn't fixed! Never again will I bring a vehicle in for service or purchase a vehicle again from them! These experiences are just the tip of the iceberg!
