Excellent service
Linda Smith did an excellent job of getting my car maintained on time and of giving me copies of my receipts. She even partially filled out and gave me a copy of the cabin air filter rebate to mail in. She was also very pleasant and personable to work with.

very bad customer care. waste of time
very bad customer service and not care bout customer at all. i been there friday @ 4:30 picked out the car i want and filled out paper on same day. the sale guy told me that its late the financial department was left. and the its bout 5pm. and they are close at 6pm. he told me he will give my paper work first in the morning next day (sat). and i was there bout 9:00am they just open, and he told me just wait bout 30mins its should be done with in an hour and let me know what do i will need. i been wait till 10:00am i have to go back to work. i talked to him i have go back to work pls call me at my cell or my work let me know wat is going on. he yes i will call u with in the max 45 mins. and 11:30am i havent heard any phone call, i go there 1 more time and talked to him. and he said its a sat not a lot banks open its take little longer. give him till 1:00pm either bad or good he will call me to let me know wat i should needed. and sat gone by. no one call me anything. not even my cell or my work. so pls dont go there u will waste ur time, very uncare bout customer and not promised at all. pls do not waste ur customer time if u dont want to sell a car. and u know wat , as the same day(sat) i try another dearler and they got a car that i want, same car as gmc, but not gmc dealer, in and out took the car home bout 3hours later. for that reason i know gmc dealer are not care bout their customer at all. at least call ur customer know as ur promised. thank you and lucky that i dont got the car from them, wat if after u bought and they dont care bout u any more, thats will be worse. pls dont go there, u dont want waste ur time, other dealers way better and took care their customer pretty well. bye bye gmc dealer. waste of time

Waste of time
I made it clear to them what I was looking to pay monthly along with the amount of down payment, and term of car loan I was looking for. I advised them I didn’t want to waste my time so if you could not do it then let me know. Sales guy tells me right away he thinks we can get that done. I hear from him the next day when he tells me that he has good news for me, only to be shut down. It was a higher payment, longer term, and they wanted a higher down payment. Wasted my time once again. Do not recommend this dealer! Went through all of it for nothing.

Buying a truck
I was very disappointed with the sales department. At first I was extremely lowballed for my trade in. Didn’t even come close to my payment request. Told the sales person that I was working an to text me if they had a better deal. I received a voicemail with a closer Monthly payment. When I requested the trade in value, rate, term of loan, and price of the vehicle. I received nothing except for a text that the truck I was interested in had two new tires.... 1) I had the money 2) I wanted the truck. 3) sales customer service sucks.

Terrible
Yes, this is long winded, but there was no short way to put it, so apologies in advance. I bought a used 2014 Sierra 1500 SLT Crew in mid-December 2019 with about 50K on it. The truck was absolutely beautiful, that is until the paint started falling off the doors and other areas where the body work has tight bends in it. The truck is White Diamond Tri-Coat which was one of GM's sharpest colors until they discontinued it. As if the paint falling off the truck without any corrosion whatsoever contributing to the failure, there's more. Within the first few months, the leaf springs are making an awful racket. Brandon, the service underwriter at the time, tells me there's extended coverage for 2014 leaf springs but mine isn't covered. Months later when putting the truck into 4LO, the mirrors tilt like I'm in reverse, the seat goes all the way down and back, and when the cruise is set sometimes when hitting the turn signals, the cruise will be shut off. Last week, I began getting codes for the fuel system being too rich. Being a maintenance mechanic myself, I delved into the issue. It was a bad seal on the high-pressure fuel pump. Which in turn was shooting fuel into my crank case and turning my oil that was just changed in the last month pitch black. Within days, I have a high pitched squealing noise coming from the torque converter. So after conversations with my fiance, we decided it was time to part ways with the truck and look into newer (2018 ), Yukon XL's. I get there today and asked for Marcus, the used car sales manager, who is of course busy as soon as he hears I'm coming in for an issue. I was however fortunate enough to work with Walt, who we purchased an Acadia from for my fiance two years ago. Walt was, and still is, fantastic to work with. He was in disbelief about the paint issues and the lack of response I received from the paint shop. I watched him physically walk to the paint building to see if the manager was there to show him my issue, but he wasn't in. Again, Walt is FANTASTIC. After discussing what type of vehicle I was in search of, Marcus takes my truck for a test drive like he did when I traded in my last 2014 Sierra to them. After seeing him careening the corner coming into the lot practically on two wheels (Yes, exaggeration.), he has Walt run me through the usual questions. I reluctantly, in a bid to be decent and hopefully receive some reciprocation, tell them the remaining balance on my loan. Marcus gets the information and comes back with this offer. Half of what I paid for the truck 13 months prior, and $6,000 less than what is remaining on the loan. I understand they need to run their business and keep the lights on, but we have bought multiple vehicles from Mike Smith and I wasn't looking for anyone to bend over backwards for me. I was looking to spend another $50K on a vehicle, and thought that might be incentive to help a repeat customer out with an issue. So to end my long winded review. Walt is FANTASTIC, almost all of the staff at Mike Smith have been great to deal with. Marcus however, can't be bothered with any issues, once he's signed off a deal, you own it and he CANNOT WAIT for you to trade it back in so he can rake you over the coals. Can't wait to read the generic, copy and paste response Mike Smith will provide for this one star review.

Wonderful Experience
