While the initial trade-in offer didn’t align with our financial goals, one of the sales associates, Kale, took the time to offer thoughtful and practical suggestions as we were heading out. That advice directly influenced our next steps—we sold our vehicle locally and returned within the hour specifically to work with Kale and purchase our new car. Walser’s no-haggle pricing continues to be a major advantage, and in our experience, they consistently offer some of the best prices in town. We especially want to recognize Kale. He is exactly the kind of person who gives Walser its strong reputation. He was friendly, authentic, straightforward, and genuinely personable—more like a helpful neighbor than a salesperson. He took time to connect with us, asking about our family and sharing about his own, which made the entire experience feel relaxed and even enjoyable. What is typically a purely financial transaction felt comfortable and welcoming—we were laughing, chatting, and truly enjoying ourselves. From a professional standpoint, Kale was thorough, addressed our questions and minor concerns with the vehicle, and never pressured us into purchasing extras we didn’t want. That level of respect and transparency meant a lot to us. It’s also worth noting that our initial visit was not as positive. We came in through a marketing text and were assigned to a different salesperson who used typical high-pressure tactics and reduced the quoted trade-in value from $41,000 to $40,000 once we arrived. After making childcare arrangements and bringing our 4-month-old baby with us, it was frustrating to feel misled and leave after only 30 minutes. That experience made it even clearer how exceptional Kale was. When we returned, we chose to work only with him—and we’re very glad we did. We would absolutely purchase from Walser Honda again, as long as we could work with someone like Kale.
