I my wife and I are long time Ford enthusiasts, owning

I my wife and I are long time Ford enthusiasts, owning several currently and many more throughout our lifetime. We bought a 2023 Ford Explorer ST from Courtesy Ford in Conyers, Ga on 2/11/2026. My salesman, Pete Kouvas, and my finance guy, John Hampton, were both very shady and dishonest. I?ve never had an experience like this at any Ford dealership or any other dealership, for that matter. After agreeing upon a drive-out sale price, Pete changed the numbers on the deal and then distracted me away from noticing them before I signed. Either he, John, or both of them also added in a gap insurance policy and Safe Guard auto theft protection subscription I did not want nor ask for. I returned to the dealership today to address these concerns and was dismissed and gaslighted until I threatened to return the vehicle. I was once again gaslighted and dismissed once by Pete and a second time by a manager, with Pete telling me ?this isn?t Walmart. You can?t just return the car?. The manager tried to tell me the same thing, but quickly they began to understand that I knew my rights and was prepared to do what was necessary. I have requested a cancellation of the Safe Guard service and gap insurance, and was refunded $640 of the $1,240 I was overcharged. I agreed to cover $600 because Javada Gresham, general sales manager, was kind, professional, and apologetic. I appreciated that very much after Pete had turned abrasive and sarcastic and made this visit a very unpleasant one. I expect to be fully refunded for the fraudulent services and will no longer do business with Courtesy Ford or any dealerships within Courtesy Auto Group. READ EVERYTHING YOU SIGN AND REVIEW THE NUMBERS ON YOUR PAPERWORK CAREFULLY. This is not an honest organization where you can make a handshake agreement and trust that things are legitimate. We do love the car, though.

Was delightful, so much better than Ginn Chevrolet. Joe Rose was easy going and not pushy, the dealership had plenty of vehicles and they were all clean. They detailed my truck for me when I bought it!
