A simple dent in quarter.

A simple dent in quarter. And they took 2 weeks to fix. Should of been 3 days. Added a bunch of repairs and sent to insurance twice the price of quote. Even though I said over and over I will self pay. Sad thing is I do this work at Ford motor right down the road. I just don't have the equipment at home. I can cut out and replace a quarter in 3 days. They take 2 weeks to fix a dent. Severe mismanagement. Its sad a Ford worker gets treated like this from a Ford dealership.

really bad customer service in service dept.

i came in for a check engine light on my 2011 crown victoria police interceptor. turns out it was just where i had been changing over from reg gas to e85 too much. told to give it 2 tanks of good reg gas and it would go out. it did as they said. so they were right about that. the trouble came 2 weeks after i got my car back. i went to check my oil and noticed my engine cover was missing. so i went over there. told that no one was there that could look for it. to come back mon. this was a sat. came back mon. told mechanic that worked on it was out. no one to check if it was back there. in the mean time tried calling 2 days trying to either get my shield or have them replace it. i called parts its just like 35 bucks for it and the nut to hold it. finally got someone to look for it after week and a half. not there. manager had knee surgery and wasnt there. called back and as usual didnt get a call back. finally i just ordered the part and paid for it myself. i will never let them work on my car ever again. the parts dept was great and ill continue to get ford parts there but they aint gonna fix nothing. i had such a run around that i was amazed at the lack of customer service there. i should not have had to fork out 35 bucks to replace something they lost. ill be going back to byerly ford. long waits but at least the serice is better. and they actully put everything back on.

Consumer response

But when I go over there and look for a new truck before I get out of my old truck yeah I’m all over me oh you need this one to go you look good in this one but when I try to get some repairs done you can forget it you can’t are you never can’t get to my car for three or four days and you don’t even know what it is and I told that guy that my light was on and Mammie Dr in it I don’t know if I’m hurting it or not and he had no concerns about it

Greg is the best ever

I got a focus last week from Greg Butler. He made trading in my old car ridiculously easy and helped with everything I needed. I had a few questions after I left and he was always quick to respond and was super helpful. I’d recommend everyone go here and see him!

12/5/2021 I was shopping online for a Ford Fusion; Town & Country Ford had a "Sport" edition listed on it's website for around $21,000. I was able to set up an appointment with Preston; it was late in the evening so I was surprised to interact with a real human at that hour. Upon my arrival the next day I found the vehicle had been in minor collisions that were unreported to CarFax. The rear bumper (sticking out from the clips where it attaches to the fender) was damaged, the trunk was mis-aligned likely as a result of the impact. The front bumper had some damage that the dealership attempted to paint and the repair looked horrible. As if these things weren't enough, my sales rep Preston Jones calls me into his office (to showcase all of his accomplishments displayed on his cubicle wall) he explains to me that a third party vendor had listed the price of the vehicle incorrectly -to the tune of about $7000 and I understand we're all human, mistakes happen. Preston says that he's going to get the car into the body shop for a proper repair but the body shop is backed up 2 weeks. He says "do me a favor, will you not buy a car until I can get this one fixed?" On 12/10/2021 he checks in with me and tells me that the car waiting on the body shop was sold a right after I was in on 12/5/2021. Mr. Jones never tried to help me find a vehicle in MY price range. He tried to push me into a vehicle that fit HIS price range which happened to be anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 more than what I was looking for. When I reached out to him via text to let him know that I had purchased a car on 12/13/2021, Preston didn't even have the decency to reply back AT ALL.....nothing. Don't make the mistake that I did of telling Preston Jones that I had really good credit or you may be taken advantage of. I do not recommend this dealership nor Preston Jones.

I dropped off my car on Tuesday for recall service and they told me it takes 2 days to be fixed, then I called them on Friday but they said it would be ready on Saturday by 1 pm. I called them today (Saturday) and they said nobody is here in the service department, and they don't know if it is done or not

I worked out a deal on the phone with a salesman who was great and very helpful for a new ford f150. We agreed on a price and he wrote it up with taxes and fees. I went in to the dealer and drove truck and agreed to buy it. Then the sales manager stepped in and said there was another $4000 fee because of supply and demand. I told him that I had driven a hour to get here after agreeing to a price; he then told it was his truck and he could put whatever price on it he wanted

Hello I'm reaching out in hopes that I can get some...

Hello I'm reaching out in hopes that I can get some answers on 2014 Ford Focus that has been sitting at your service center since June. Initially it was towed in because my car wouldn't go into drive was told the transmission mechanic was out due to his wife having a baby and he was out on paternity leave. When he returned a week later I was told they were still diagnosing my car and to call back in a few days, so I did and was told itll be ready they ordered the part just have to get that part put in and id be able to pick my car up the following week. Since then after getting the run around I call at least once a week and I get told no eta on the transmission control module part and so my car has been sitting being neglected no oil ran through the engine no battery hooked up not started since June that alone will destroy a vehicle just put a brand new battery in it and im concerned ill have more issues than just the transmission once I get my car back because It has been sitting so long. I have reached out to the corporate several times with no solution. I have a business that is imperative that I have a vehicle no one has offered a loner or rental and I have spent money on car insurance since June on a vehicle that is not being driven and alot of money on ubers to get me back and forth to work. I cannot afford to keep doing this.

I am having issues with my 2017 Ford fusion, and contacted the dealer service department. I was informed that I was looking at 6 to 8 weeks before they could service my vehicle. That’s unacceptable, and informed me that most dealers are experiencing the same time frames. That speaks volumes about the quality of Ford vehicles. Note to self - never buy another Ford!!!

My car was brought in to fix the flywheel and I picked it up 2 weeks later. The transmission was removed to do this servicing. Three days later, the entire transmission went out and had to be towed back to TAC. It has now been going on 3 weeks and I have yet to get a returned call, even though I have called, left messages, sent emails, every single day. I called Ford corporate and they told me I had several cars in front of mine and they didn't have a time frame on when it would even be diagnosed in order for me to get a rental. One would think since the transmission was obviously messed up BY THEM when they replaced flywheel, that my car would take some sort of priority. I am having to pay Uber 4 times a day just to get my kids to school. The lack of compassion, concern, communication, and just plain customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. The car is still under warranty since it was only just purchased in May smh.
