I recently went to the service department for routine maintenance. The service advisor was very knowledgeable as he explained what would be needed at the visit. My service was completed quickly and the report was reviewed with me. I would definitely recommend Busam Subaru for both purchase and service.

We purchased a 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness about a week ago. At the time of finalizing the deal, we were clearly told that the APR would be 1.9% through Chase. Based on that information, we agreed and took the vehicle home. However, today we received the official paperwork showing an APR of 2.9%, which directly contradicts what we were told. When we returned to the dealership to address this issue, the sales manager claimed that while all trims qualify for 1.9%, this particular vehicle is 2.9%. This was never disclosed to us during the purchase process. What makes this situation worse is that my uncle, who was involved in the purchase and has limited ability to read English, relied entirely on the verbal explanation provided by the dealership. It is unacceptable to give one set of information verbally and then present different terms in the written contract. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If you do consider purchasing from them, make sure to carefully review all documents and confirm every detail in writing before leaving with the vehicle. Otherwise, you may face similar issues. Buyer beware.

We recently purchased a Crosstrek from this dealership on Feb. 14th. The process itself was fine, quick, and easy. The service after the sale is where it all fell apart and has made it impossible to return to the dealership for our future Subarus. The day after we brought the car home we tried turning on the heat and nothing, then tried the AC and again nothing coming out. We tried all the settings with no luck. Contacted the guy who sold us the car Jerry Anstaett, to see what could be done, if anything because I did sign a purchase as is form. He told me he would check on it and get back with me. Just like the blower in the car, I have received nothing. I have attempted to reach him 3 times and nothing. You would think they would know the issue with the car and disclose it at the sale. This dealership has lost our trust. We would have been fine with a response of we can not do anything since we signed that form, but they don't think enough of the customers after sale to give them that respect. I would think twice before purchasing from this dealership if I were you, or at least hit everything button and try every single setting the car offers before you hand them your money.

First of all, we have owned only Hondas and Toyotas for all 38 years of our marriage because of our experience in their reliability and getting 300,000 plus miles without any major issues. We wanted a base model comparable to the Honda CRV. My parents have owned several Subaru Foresters so we decided to give it a try. Our experience at Busam Subaru in Fairfield was perfect. Our salesman, Lashan was informative, not overbearing and respected our time. We returned the next day to locate a car. He quickly located the vehicle we wanted and it would arrive in 2 days. We have spent hours negotiating the price of all of our other new vehicles. I did my research and in 5 minutes with 1 counter offer the price of our 2026 Subaru Forester was complete. We came back 2 days later to purchase our car. Again, our time was respected. We were informed about the additional warranties but have always declined. We believe in the product we are buying. We hope that this Subaru Forester will meet and exceed our expectations and be regarded with the respect that we have for our past history and present ownership of Honda and Toyota vehicles.

I purchased my Legacy at Busam and have continued to have them service my car. They are always friendly when I call to make an appointment. Once there I’m treated like a special customer. This time I asked for something extra. I’m 75, got a new license plate and was able to replace the old one myself. They were so kind to take care of that for me. I appreciate the great care, wonderful service and kind and friendly people at Busam. I will continue to take my car there for service. A huge thank you to them!
