⭐ 1-Star Review for RT28 Motors – 137 Main St, North Reading, MA I bought a used 2017 RAM 2500 from RT28 Motors, and the experience has been extremely disappointing and costly. Within days, the truck failed the Massachusetts state safety inspection for major issues including: • Bad ball joints and tie rods • Broken side mirrors • Steering concerns • Suspension and emissions failures These weren’t cosmetic issues — they were safety violations that made the truck illegal to drive. Before the inspection, I had already raised concerns about the steering. I was told it was “just a wheel balance” and brushed off with “Are you a mechanic?”. I was also promised in writing that repairs would be handled once the bank funded the deal. After they got paid, they delayed registration for nearly a month, preventing me from getting it inspected within the state’s Lemon Law window. That’s not just frustrating — it’s deceptive. By the time I could inspect it, I had to pay over $2,500 out of pocket for parts, labor, and a wheel alignment — just to make the truck safe and legal. Now, after providing receipts, the failed inspection report, and documented communication, I’ve been ignored. Since posting about my experience, I’ve received multiple statements from other customers who say they also received vehicles with incorrect or unsafe parts installed. That’s a pattern — not a one-off. I’m not someone looking for a handout. I’m self-employed, sober 7 years, and a father of four — including a newborn. I did what I had to do to keep my family safe. I’ve filed a Chapter 93A demand and will pursue legal action if needed. If you’re considering buying here, think twice and get everything in writing — including a full third-party inspection before you sign anything.

My experience in buying a car from RT28 Motors with salesman Mike, was all awesome at first... right up to the delivery of the car from North Reading Massachusetts to Manhattan Kansas upon which the tires were near 2/32" tread. Mike said he would talk with Harry about this issue of selling me a car of which I would have to buy four new tires right away. But in the long haul of communicating with Mike over nearly a month span of time (as Mike put me off repeatedly)... he failed to come thru for me to do right by me and provide new tires (even after telling me that RT28 Motors has a Firestone Complete Care account and asking me if there is a Firestone in my town). Very disappointed how things ended up with this BAD TIRE TREAD issue! I will never do business again with Mike!

Matthew did a great job from step one until I drove off the lot. Very fast process and friendly way of buying a car.

I'm new to purchasing a car, and RT28 Motors was superb with my first used car buying experience from the start to the end! They were patient in explaining the process and the paperwork required, and made sure to get me the documents I needed for my out-of-state car registration. As I reside far from them, they even made sure to drive out (more than an hour from them) with documents so I could sign them and have them ready for my registration. Their prices are really great considering the inflation. I 100% recommend them to anyone who wishes to purchase a used car at a competitive price!

After purchasing a vehicle from them on August 6th,owning the car for 2 weeks the exhaust flex pipe broke,and the dealer refused to fix it,lost a loyal customer. BUYER BEWARE!!!
