It was my first time leasing a brand new car and I was extremely overwhelmed and fearful of the process. Kylie and the finance department made everything... extremely easy and quick.
NEVER, NEVER EVER LET THESE PEOPLE NEAR YOUR CAR!!! The very worst experience I have ever had with any dealer service! Five times they claimed the car... was fixed, and all they did was continue to break things! 2015 Genesis Ultimate - They had all the alarms going off! Once they stole everything out of the car and refused to reimburse me because there was an ultra-small print disclaimer saying they weren't responsible for anything left in the car on the back of the service order! Ganley finally fixed most of it, but Hyundai said that Elyria Hyundai should pay to fix the rest - but they refused! Now I have mystery extra parts! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!
I will definitely be stopping back for service. Tom was very professional and enjoyed working with him.
If I could rate this location with 0 stars, I absolutely would. I cannot even begin to accurately depict my frustration and hurt while trying to lease... a new car from this location. I had already leased from here, and I was trading my lease in for a new one. My lease manager, Sam, and the financial manager, , messed up my paperwork over 3 times while trying to lease this new car, and requested 3 separate trips out to the dealership so they could correct their mistakes. I am a veteran who already had a lease through Hyundai, and yet they needed new proof again of my DD214 (my veteran ID was not enough, and neither was the one they already had on file apparently) and signatures they consistently forgot. Besides screwing up my lease, no one told me when I got a new lease that I needed to turn off AutoPay. While I realize, according to them, this is my responsibility to know, I was under the assumption that when I received and paid for my new lease, I wouldn't get charged for the lease I do not have anymore. Not only was I VERY mistaken about that, Elyria Hyundai, Sam specifically, was extremely rude while trying to remedy the problem. I am a poor, single mother attempting to raise a daughter in college, and the last thing I needed was a car payment I didn't have to make. Sam's solution?? Well she could probably find a way to write me a check to cover it, and why don't I come down there and get it, and then sign more paperwork that she did incorrectly AGAIN???? I live 40 minutes from this dealership, so when I expressed that I wasn't able to make it there that day and asked them to send the check in the mail to me, she quipped, "I was under the assumption you were so poor you needed the money right now," because I had explained my financial situation to her, and then told me they were not able to mail the check. Sam also made sure to tell me multiple times that this was my mistake, not theirs, and that they are not responsible for telling customers to turn off AutoPay. I asked to speak with her manager, and she told me that her manager didn't need to be involved in this. I tried to call the general manager, Mike, and he never bothered to return my phone call. And there is STILL paperwork that I need to go back and fill out because their staff members were incompetent the THREE TIMES I've already had to do this. They are also being extremely rude, and I don't feel comfortable going down there to sign papers due to the hostility from the person in charge of my new lease!!! I wasn't expecting to have such a negative interaction with this place, but I can confidently say that they have lost ALL business from me, and I cannot encourage anyone enough to NOT GET YOUR CAR HERE. That being said, if you have to, certainly do not go with Sam. This was a GINORMOUS mistake, a large waste of time, IMMENSELY frustrating, and overall terrible.

I bought a used Nissan Rogue from them this week. Kylie Dawson was my sales rep and was very easy to work with. She followed up timely and exceeded my... expectations. She was very helpful, and I would buy a car from her again. Jim Campo finished up the purchase process, and was also easy to work with. He did not resort to high pressure sales tactics with the add on options, which I greatly appreciated. Overall a very positive experience!
