There was a nail in the right rear tire that punctured the sidewall. I was surprised to find out there was no road hazard warranty on it.

Sidewall damage is incredibly frustrating because it unfortunately requires a full replacement for your safety. I completely understand why you were surprised about the lack of road hazard coverage. To clarify, our standard manufacturer warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship, but they don't cover external damage caused by the road, like nails or potholes, unless an additional Road Hazard Protection plan was purchased at the time of sale. Dick Smith reached out to me about the recall that I was putting off. They offered to do the recalls via their mobile service. I scheduled everything through text messages and Jesse came out and serviced my vehicle fast and easy.
