Had a poor experience with the former service manager,

Had a poor experience with the former service manager, Frank, and the General Manager, Marcus. As it seems that Frank has been let go, I will focus this review mainly on Marcus. After Frank refused to honor a service contract I had with the dealership, yelled at me, spoke down to me, and lied about not maintaining service records, I was unhappy, reached out to the GM, and left a poor google review. Marcus reached out, seemingly trying to help, but never responded to any voicemails I left him over a series of months. It felt like he was just trying to play it up for the internet, with no intention of ever reaching back out. And he never did. The whole experience felt like a huge scam, and this is a dealership that I would not recommend using for purchases and service.

Customer Service at its Best!

I bought my Sportage 8 months ago from Burlington Kia and I had the pleasure of working with Brian Bonner who I found to be very customer oriented, friendly And very efficient. I had some questions yesterday and left him a message to contact me. Of course, he responded quickly, answered my questions and did it with a caring and positive attitude. I’ll have to give him an A+ for outstanding customer service!!

Excellent Service!

After going lot to lot, it was a welcome experience to speak with someone who actually knew what they were talking about. Thank you Brad for your professionalism and insight. Also, thank you for proving first hand that not all salesmen are slimy.

This review is for the service department, NOT THE SALES

This review is for the service department, NOT THE SALES DEPARTMENT, I brought my Kia K5 LXS 2021 car in for it's first oil change since purchase Dec. 2021 and Valerie Apple was my service advisor, she was/is TOP NOTCH and with the service she provided me will keep me coming back to Kia Service in Burlington NC. She resolved the issue for me with my car pulling slightly to the left that I thought was out of alignment but it was indeed a new tire on the front left side and recommended rotating the tires to fix the issue and explained why. She also knew why my stirring wheel was making a funny sound when I turned it, so she has ordered the part and we will be replacing it under warranty. I was not aware of the steering wheel issue till I drove the car for a little bit after purchase for it was an impulse by for me while on site having my 2013 Optima oil change and front breaks done. I love the car and once I have these issues resolved and 4 new tires she will be top notch. I would have expected more from the sales department though for it was a "certified preowned" car that I purchased, I will leave that to my second review, bottom line is Kia Service Department in Burlington I HIGHLY recommend, ask for Valerie Apple!!

Unexpected new car purchase.

My initial visit was to drop off my 2015 Kia Forte for an engine repair. While I was there decided to speak with one of the salesmen, Chris, who heard my engine pinging/knocking while I was parked. Although, he was able to work with me regarding reasonable/affordable monthly payments, he was misleading with the actual price of the car (2022 Kia Forte). Come to find out that the mark down price was not the price we were working with; however, he was able to save me $5,700.00. And when I questioned the "out the door" price I was told it was included in the mark down price to figure out it was not. When questioned he gave me the answer that everything is in the paper work. Needless to say with a very low down payment and monthly payments for seven years I am paying more than the actual mark down price which was $28,000.00

One of the worst dealerships I’ve bought from.

One of the worst dealerships I’ve bought from. Salesman was slimy as usual. Made the deal and I had to leave so I left my wife there to finish up and drive the new car home. As soon as I left they somehow went up $12 a month. They knew my wife was stranded and didn’t have a way home. They didn’t leave me with a temporary registration. So then I moved to a different state and they were supposed to send it to me and they told me they would overnight it and they did not. Now my plates are expired and I called again and they said they would overnight again. So I’m still waiting on that.

I am so pleased that the salesman, Lance Lightner, who sold me my 2010 Kia Soul is still working at Burlington Kia! I just purchased my 4th Kia vehicle. Lance is patient and thorough. Thank you so much Lance and Burlington!

At first I was skeptical of how long the process will

At first I was skeptical of how long the process will take but with the professionalism of sales man "Monty" and his impeccable approach to his work he went up n beyond giving me the best guidelines and experience from my walk-in till driving off the lot, i give a 👍 and I highly recommend KiA with their outstanding staff team.
