Exceptional customer service from the beginning to the end. Highly recommend this dealership for a wonderful purchasing experience. The most wonderful thing is that the entire team from sales to service treat you like they actually want you to keep coming back to them. Based on the exceptional customer CARE from Kia in Columbus, GA, I just purchased my second Sorento. Kevin Mosley, my sales representative, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He patiently walked me through the operation of the vehicle - taking time to preset some of the controls for me (I'm a non tech-savvy senior, so I truly appreciated his help). He left me feeling very confident, that if needed, he'd be happy to further assist me beyond the sale, however, he was so thorough, I don't think I'll need further assistance. I purchased a 2021 Kia Sorento at kia of Columbus.
I purchased a 2021 Kia Sorento at kia of Columbus.In the past 4 months I’ve gone back to this Kia service department three times regarding me not being able to put gas in my car because my gas door not opening. Each time my sorento was taken to the mechanics they pried it open and said the latch inside the door isn't working properly or that there was gunk on the latch. The third time I asked for a manager. The manager came out and immediately accused me of not knowing how to operate my vehicle. Instead of asking me what the problem was she assumed I didn’t know how to operate the vehicle and attempted to gas light me about unlocking the vehicle before pressing on the gas door for it to pop open. She took my keys and then attempted to show me and after realizing she was wrong didn't even apologize. She said that I would have to wait a while and offered me the shuttle service but I told her I would just wait because I had my daughter and would rather wait for it to get fixed properly this time. When she brought the keys inside I watched her tell the two front service personnel that they could have handled the situation even though I asked for a manager. When the vehicle was pulled forward she came to the waiting area and got me and my daughter and we went out to the car. She ATTEMPTED AGAIN to tell me how to unlock the car and said the latch inside wasn't working properly but we fixed it. She then said i probably won't have issue with is ever again. I said why not just replace the part thats causing the issue. Her response was it was on back order but when it comes in she would personally call me. That was at the beginning of November. Well today is Christmas day, and I head to the gas station to gas up and get on the road to pick up my daughter from her fathers and guess what? I can't put gas in the vehicle because the door won't open. So thank you Kia. I truly regret getting this car. A brand new vehicle should not have this type of issue. So today while everyone is enjoying their Christmas with their family...I don't have the opportunity to do the same.
