Best experience! If every salesperson was like Chris Shult, everyone would enjoy car shopping. From Chris, David Ray, Clarence they made everything happen, quickly and so easy for me. I did not feel pressured to buy a car, Chris gave me options and we discussed what I wanted and extras I liked and left the decision up to me. My first KIA is from Kia Autosport Columbus and I knew I wanted to get my Telluride from them even though I live in Nashville now, I was here staying with family for the weekend and dropped by to see if they had any Telluride's in since they have been limited on site for a couple of years now, ended up buying a 2023 Telluride and drove home. I want to thank Chris for coming in on his day off knowing I wanted to close the deal with him and I had to get back to TN. I definitely have nothing but good things to say from the time I walked on the lot until I was on my way home to let my husband know what I bought :) Thank you so much and I look forward to scheduling all my maintenance with this dealership. Had to be the best dealership I’ve ever had had.
Had to be the best dealership I’ve ever had had. As soon as I walked in, Chris Shult greeted me at the door and was more than happy to help. He made the car buying process seamless, and had us in and out with our new car in less than 2 hours! I also had the the pleasure of talking to Clarence Fredrick, the finance manager, who was a big help. These are just a few of the employees that make Kia the best dealership in Columbus.

UPDATE! What might have started out as an imperfect start, this dealership really owned the customer experience and flipped the script! I’m so impressed with how much they genuinely care about more than just the sale! I not only bought my Sportage from them but just sent a family I met in a store parking lot to my salesman & this dealership! I walked up to them taking pics of my car and asking where I got it and I just couldn’t help recommending this team. Thank you for valuing me and my experience- it felt good about sending someone your way knowing you listen & care! AND I really love my car!

I spoke with management and it seems that there was confusion with the trade offer from Kelly Blue Book. We're happy to discuss it with you and try to figure out where the difference is coming from but I understand that while we were trying to research the error that someone from your party became very upset and left. Kelly Blue Book is a third party vendor we use to help us calculate your trade value and we rely on information provided from their company. While researching this morning, I went through your lead details and noticed the trade offer your received was on a Grand Touring model and the Kelly Blue Book offer we vin decoded was for a Touring. This might be where the discrepancy came from. We're happy to honor anything online, we just need to see where the discrepancy is coming from in order to give you the most accurate figures. As a female owned and operated business, I can confidently say ,this has nothing to do with you being female. I'm sorry you feel that way. Our folks are hired by a female, trained by a female, and work for and with a female leader daily. This appears to be a trade related appraisal issue and could have happened to anyone regardless of gender. We pride ourselves on treating everyone as equals and being different than the others. We have an excellent reputation in our sales department but sometimes we are not able to satisfy a client. I'm not defending anyone's actions here, and I'm not saying that at times we don't make errors. I'm just stating that this all boils down to a difference in the trade. As I mentioned yesterday I'm happy to review your deal with you, appraise your trade in person for you, or chat with you about your experience. I'm truly sorry that your experience was unpleasant with the manager you worked with but if there's anything I can do to assist you please let me know. Thank you for responding to my post, Melanie. Where I can appreciate the errors being made, and I can get that until a car is ‘seen’ you cannot fully guarantee the value. With that said, 2 other dealers onsite have offered $19K for the car and your staff offering me $16K was ridiculous. Then to do the “let me talk to my manager” bit only to then offer me $17K as a the highest. Then I said, nicely,”Thank you, I appreciate your time” and instead of getting my keys they redo the same bit to bring me another offer, I guess because I am a woman- it is expected for me to not understand. Unfortunately, by this time, I had called my husband so he could sign the papers on our current car & he just arrived to see me waiting for my keys after asking a 2nd time so I could leave, He did get upset feeling I was being taken advantage of and being held up so that the sales team could do this back & forth. I did think the $20,919 the website gave was high compared to the two previous onsite assessments and was expecting it to be less than that initial quote. However, I did NOT expect it to be nearly $5K less. It being a Touring & not a Grand Touring makes sense why it was so high but does not explain why your team came another $3K below the value except to make some additional money thinking I a dumb female that won’t know any better. Even had they came in at $18.5K, I would have bought the car but to play games with me and do the back & forth was insulting. This would have been my 3rd Kia, I have peers within their HR team that had me believing in the brand but after this experience, I am so disappointed. It’s 2023, woman make most purchase decisions in the majority of households, please get out of the Stone Age and treat us some respect and not an easy mark to overcharge us, show integrity in your business practices. I am sorry my husband got upset but he felt that his wife was being taken advantage of and should not have ask for her keys multiple times so she can leave an establishment. And when the only response you get is the website is a 3rd party vendor, we’re not responsible for what it gave you… well, that’s irresponsible. A business is responsible for the partnerships they contract with to service the customer. Again, it goes back to integrity. Yes, it’s an estimate until the car is assessed in person, and like I did, a mistake can be made putting in the info. Just say that, and then give a fair trade, but don’t lowball me because I’m a woman, hold my keys for ransom and tell me that website isn’t really yours so an online deal is not a deal at all.

Chris Shult was the absolute best salesman!
Chris Shult was the absolute best salesman! He was very knowledgeable about the car, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The sales manager David Ray and finance manager Guy Martin really worked with me and helped get the car to a price I could afford, and now I am leasing for the first time. Such a pleasant experience!

From the moment we walked into the show room, Chris Shult was totally focused on finding exactly the right vehicle for my wife and I. He spent a large amount time explaining each feature of our prospective car, which was somewhat a challenge because we are in our seventies and not tech savvy. In the past fifty years, we have purchased many vehicles from many different dealers, but none of them were as professional and caring as the staff of Kia AutoSport Columbus.

KIA SCAMS
Melanie Lee is a horrible Service manager.Currently have 2 recalls on KIA and was told by Ms Lee it will be months before my car will be seen and if they find anything else wrong with it, I will be charged $125 diagnostic fee. They only want to test drive your vehicle when the recall letters clearly states a diagnostic is to be done at NO COST to the customer. They scamming.
