I purchased a 2020 BMW X5 from Schomp BMW on 1/10/2026
I purchased a 2020 BMW X5 from Schomp BMW on 1/10/2026 while living over 1,000 miles out of state. Because I was buying remotely, I specifically confirmed with Nevada (salesperson) before purchase that the vehicle had zero issues and that everything was fully functional. I was assured that it was. Immediately upon delivery, that turned out to be untrue. The vehicle’s Driver Assistance package is faulty and throws an error message, rendering multiple critical safety systems inoperable, including: Blind spot monitoring Lane departure warning Side collision system In addition to the safety failures, nearly half of the interior ambient lighting was not working upon arrival. To make matters worse, the vehicle was shipped with only one key, despite being promised a second key would be mailed to me. As of now, I still have not received it. I have made multiple attempts to resolve these issues and have contacted Nevada and Ally (sales manager). I was told that Darrick would would reach out, yet I have received no call, no follow-up, and no proposed solution. At this point, it feels like being ignored is the chosen response. This situation is extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on Schomp BMW’s integrity and post-sale customer service, especially for an out-of-state buyer who relied on their representations. I have tried to be reasonable and even offered a practical solution based on an independent mechanic’s assessment, but communication has stalled completely. I will update this review if and when a resolution is provided. Until then, I strongly recommend considering other dealerships if you are planning to purchase a vehicle, especially if buying remotely.

My recent vehicle purchase from Schomp BMW on 11/24/2025
My recent vehicle purchase from Schomp BMW on 11/24/2025 was a deeply disappointing experience that directly contradicted the dealership's advertised "One Price. One Person. One Hour" commitment. The process was characterized by significant delays, poor communication, and a failure to address post-sale issues, falling far below the standard expected of a premium brand. My primary concerns are as follows: -A complete disregard for my time. Despite a clear 9:30am arrival and communication of a 12:30pm appointment, the purchase process extended to over 3.5 hours due to unexplained and frequent delays. My salesperson - Micah - was repeatedly unavailable, failed to communicate next steps, and left me unattended multiple times to the point where I had to have reception page him and personally seek help from the finance office. Even after I stated I was late, he continued to attempt upsells, demonstrating a blatant disrespect for my schedule. -Failure to Honor a clear post-sale assurance. During the test drive, I noted the front end felt out of alignment. Micah assured me that Schomp had a 30 day post purchase inspection warranty on the vehicle and anything that was found in the post purchase inspection of the vehicle would be addressed (outside of the engine). I took the car to a Acura dealer and it was confirmed that the car needed a tire alignment, wheel balance and they also found the rotors were warped and the brakes were between 4-5mm, a direct contradiction of the dealership's own "Multi Point Inspection Form" which falsely recorded them to be at 7mm "or greater". This is not a simple oversight, it is a misleading document. Despite multiple attempts via email, phone call and multiple texts, it took over 5 days to receive the dismissive reply "I did not have luck with the alignment". A detailed email was sent to the General Sales Manager for resolution before the 30 day "warranty/guarantee" expired - I'm still waiting. -Unacceptable vehicle condition at delivery. The interior was saturated with an overpowering, non-optional fragrance that has caused persistent headaches and remains a nuisance - an unprofessional and intrusive detailing choice for a delivered vehicle. The pattern of poor communication, disregard for commitments, and provision of inaccurate documentation reflects a systemic failure in customer care. Shop elsewhere.

Unfortunately this employee was unhelpful, rude, and aggressive. We were sent to his location to purchase a part. We were given the incorrect information by a mechanic. Rather than try to help resolve the complication, he chose to be condescending, dismissive, and appeared to be annoyed by the request to help a customer. His demeanor is a reflection of the BMW Schomp Highlands Ranch location and should be addressed if he is to continue working with customers.

Totally incompetent sales staff!
Totally incompetent sales staff! Previously owned an electric BMW, went into buy a Certified IX. Told them of need to buy quickly and was moving funds to pay for it. Called the sales manager Andrew Smith telling him directly through voicemail that I wanted to buy the car. Texted salesperson Caleb Emerson I wanted to buy the car. Completely ghosted! Sales manager Andrew Smith totally dropped the ball and missed the voicemail. Salesperson Caleb Emerson went out of office without telling me despite me saying I needed to buy the car quickly, within days. Only got a defensive message from Sales Manager Andrew Smith days later after I emailed the General Sales Manager asking what the heck was going on. All he did was deflect the blame to me saying he didn't have calls or voicemails even though I have the call logs to prove I contacted both him and Caleb. He then told me of some general follow up email I should've responded to. Emailed General Sales Manager Darrick Edwards of situation and how we didn't understand why no one was getting back to us when we were ready to buy. He didn't respond. I don't understand the sales world, but when did the customer have to beg to buy a car? I ended up buying an IX from elsewhere. Totally ridiculous! Just a hugely disappointing experience and waste of time. So disrespectful to my wife and I who took the time to try and do business with this dealership. My wife and I feel incredibly slighted, disrespected, and ignored. Overall, it's just not the right way to treat people.
