As good as it gets!

My wife and myself had the pleasure to purchase a new Tacoma from Joseph Moser, Curt Evans and their team. It was a fast and pleasant experience. We were treated with respect and given a fair deal with no pressure. I will purchase from them again in the future.


I would strongly recommend working with Salesman Shawn

I would strongly recommend working with Salesman Shawn Guilfoyle. My wife & I are repeat customers. We originally wanted to shop for a replacement of a wrecked 2015 Rav4 Toyota, where we were hit from behind. We were looking for a used Rav4 replacement and left with a brand new Highland Hybrid. We are extremely happy with our purchase and working closely with Shawn Guilfoyle. We will return to see Shawn again when we purchase our next vehicle.

Great place to shop for your vehicles! I’ve purchased my last 3 Tacoma’s from them through Shawn Guilfoyle and never regretted it! He does what it takes to find what you like, givers you top trade in price and you leave very content you likely couldn’t beat the price anywhere else! Plus, their service is top notch professional! Give them a try folks, you won’t be disappointed!



Wouldn't answer any of my questions without any e-mail or phone number first. I had a simple question and it was refused an answer. Sad that there customer service is so bad before even stepping foot in the door.



I inquired about a 2020 subaru wrx. They responded very quickly to me as any dealership would that wanted to sell cars. I brought to there attention that it listed some features that wasn't actually on the car. At this point I asked if the price was negotiable since these features we not on the car. In return I got a $4600 increase in price. They said I had to purchase a theft protection and tire and wheel coverage. I said I don't want them. Apparently you have to purchase them. Then there was a $550 government fee. I've bought a few cars in my home state and outta state and NEVER had to pay a government fee. Definitely won't be referring this dealership to anybody.


Excellent Service

I came to Smart Toyota after having a terrible experience at another dealership. However, from the moment I walked in I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and they were doing all the work for me. Any questions I asked they were ready with the answers. There wasn’t any pressure to buy and by all means exceed ALL my expectations and some!!! I am so glad that I didn’t let the previous dealer discourage me from looking for my dream car!!!

I've purchased three vehicles at Smart Toyota. Honest, fair and easy to work with. No pressure. They have a friendly and knowledgeable sales staff as well as a great service center to maintain your vehicle. Every time I purchased a vehicle there it was a positive experience.


We leased a 2023 highlander hybrid.

We leased a 2023 highlander hybrid. They hide itemized lease agreement and reason is that they charge some optional costs and do not want you to know about them. They add up to couple of grands. If you go to this dealership ask for itemized agreement and also the APR or money factor. Read about these parameters to see how they play with them to keep charges high. They never care about costumers. We leased and then returned the car because they did not tell us about the optional charges and also money factor or APR. They say money factor is not related to APR but the mathematical equation is: APR/2400=money factor. My wife has MBA and knows financing and it did not matter how much we tried to explain the APR and money factor. They just do not accept simple mathematics.

I have read some other bar rates about Smart Toyota of Quad City and I realized that their policy is hiding additional optional charges from costumers and do not give them itemized price immediately. I met the sales manager and could not convince him a simple math equation which is: APR/2400=money factor. example 1) 6.48% / 2400 = 0.0027 this means money factor of 0.0027 equal to 6.48% which was our case. example 2) 3.49% / 2400 = 0.00145 this means the money factor of 0.00145 equal to APR of 3.49% which is the case of most APRs for auto. Either the sale manager did not understand the simple math or did not want to tell us we are right and it is bad that we understand these concepts. He simply told us that they do not care about the costumer and only their profit is very very important and they will try to hide optional costs and charge as much as possible to make money and no fairness in this case. Hiding optional charges and do not letting your costumers know about them is bullying and scam. It is not business. Anyway I do not think talking to the General Manager makes more sense if your sale manager do not want to accept simple math (as simple as 2/4=0.5).
