I leased another Camry from Smart Toyota.
I leased another Camry from Smart Toyota. I ended up buying at the end of my lease. When I went to put my new license plate on, I couldn't get the one of the screws out of the back plate. It was stripped terribly. So I took my car up this morning to see if Smart Toyota could help me get the screw out that they had stripped putting my old plates on. The girl at the service desk told me it would be $85 to do that for me. I told her no thanks and as I was walking out the door, she gave me one of those patronizing "have a nice day". I drove straight to Tires Plus on Kimberly and Brady. The guy at the front desk got a pair of vice grips and had the stripped screw out in about 5 minutes and didn't even charge me. It's Tires Plus and Hiland Toyota for now on. They know how to treat their customers. I won't spend another dime at Smart Toyota. Their service department is horrible.

I started off wanting a used car but decided on new and they were flexible with proving me access to whichever years and trim levels they had available so I could make a decision on my own time. Very little pressure from my sales guy, Nick Scott. Very pleasant experience there and even going back to the dreaded finance guy was not a big deal. They were flexible around the times I could come in with my spouse to finish the deal and modified things in real time. Very accommodating. Good experience overall. I would recommend.
