My wife and I purchased a wonderful car, a 2024 Subaru Forester at a very competitive price from the team at Balise Subaru, John, Chris, and Marcus. The car purchase was one of the smoothest and best auto purchases we have made. From the initial sales interview (John), test drive to financing it, (Chris) to the manager's oversight (Marcus) to driving off the lot with a gift bow the whole experience was delightful. False advertising!!!
False advertising regarding 3 new car! I looked at new car that had a $1,500 "special" on the balise website. I test drove the car & was ready to purchase. Asked the sales person several times if the car was $28,700, he said yes. I showed him the screenshot of the advertisement on the balise website that showed $30,200 with $1,500 special. False advertisement #1 - When we went to discuss the numbers he asked are you a nurse? Emt? Recent grad? No. He then said the $1,500 "special discount" only applied to those professionals or recent grads. Then he said "it was his own fault for not checking and he was sorry about that"- xx! False advertisement #2 is the interest rate. I have over 700 credit, per my bank app, showed that to the salesman. If you go in the balise website it says 4.9%. Nowhere in their website does it have the term. False advertising #2 is that when discussing the interest rate, the salesman said if it's not 36 months then rate will be higher than 4.9%. That's not what the website says. The website says 4.9% if car is new & taken by 10/31/23. False advertisement #3 on their site the trade in for my car is $21,000 which agrees with Edmonds. Why they offer the trade in amount on their site, when they don't honor it, was a surprise to me. My car has 6month old tires. New front & rear brakes down down 4 months ago. Low mileage - 13k a year. They offered $15,000 which is lower than their site, edmunds or KBB. I'll never recommend this dealership. Saw negative reviews after going there... I should've read reviews beforehand and saved myself 4 hours which I'll never get back!!!

I recently purchased a 2013 Outback and found that the
I recently purchased a 2013 Outback and found that the viscous coupler needed replacing, after researching I learnt this repair was quite specific to subarus so I decided to go to the dealership for my first time. On the drive to my appointment several lights came on the dash diagnosing a couple parts involved with the emissions system. First problem is I don't personally live close to the Balise dealership which is not their problem but going to a dealership I was half expecting at the least a ride back to my work for the day or even better a loaner car (which I have gotten from independant shops previously). Second, the viscous coupler replacement didn't arrive from the warehouse when they said it would. Again, not entirely on the dealership but still frustrating as I have a job I need to get to and am out a car. A couple days later than promised it would be done I pick my car up, lights arent on and all problems supposedly fixed. Great. A few days later all the lights come back on and I'm driving home but not necessarily close to home, stop at a auto parts store to it them to run a diagnostic and it comes up with these same two parts involving the emissions system. Scan was free and only took a few minutes. Next day I call the dealership and arrange another appointment for the following week, they assured me that it wouldnt harm the vehicle if I continued to drive, I also stressed to them how inconvenient this was starting to be. Drop my car off at the predetermined time, this time I get a loaner car. Promised again that this would be resolved quickly. 5 business days later with me calling them for daily updates they finally had a diagnostic, same as what I got at the auto parts store in minutes. I got my car two days later and still had to pay the full bill of parts and labor. I get it, parts weren't purchased the first visit for this issue but I was at least expecting them to not bill for the labor on a returning issue. Overall I'm very frustrated and disappointed with the customer service I got and can promise that I will never be going to another dealership in the future unless of course it's for a new car which is highly unlikely. Both because I don't feel as though they were truthful and transparent with getting to me quickly but then unloyal to a customer that was returning with a issue that they didn't fix the first time.

I can’t thank the sales person Ryan Morrow enough for being patient with me and working with me to appease my needs. Highly recommend him above all to sell you a car!
