Excellent experience at Porterville Ford.

Excellent experience at Porterville Ford. I brought my truck in for a check engine light and was greeted by Craig. He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. He assured me that my truck was under warranty and I had nothing to worry about. I left feeling well taken care of and glad that I had taken my truck here. I will be back!

I communicated via text with Kenny the salesman. He was very professional and followed up with my inquiries re: the purchase. I had personal circumstances that delayed my contacts, but he was very patient. At the sale closing all the staff was very helpful and were able to answer all my questions re: the purchase. I highly recommend the dealership! I'm very satisfied with my purchase and the service provided.

Ivan has had my car for 5 days.

Ivan has had my car for 5 days. It’s an oil change and diagnostic test done. As of day 3, no oil change done and no explanation for why the engine light is on. Why not call and communicate with the customer either the inability to find something wrong, do what you can do like change the oil, and suggest the customer take it to someone who can service it? No communication for 5 days. I have to call. If busy, why not tell the customer to bring in on a specific date for service? Why not call the customer and say we can’t determine what’s going on and don’t want to hold onto your car longer than necessary? Why not communicate something? How is this place so busy that they can’t communicate with their customers but they have to be closed on the weekends because business is so slow? I can’t tell what’s real and what’s xxxxxxxx. What is real, is that you will be without your car for a really long time over an oil change and diagnostic test and no one will call you to tell you what’s going on. Which is xxxxxxxx. I know other dealerships are busy right now but at least they have staff who communicate with the clients.

Never buy from this dealership!

I ordered a 2023 Bronco from Porterville Ford because they were one of a couple dealerships that didn?t have a markup. After a waiting period I was informed by the dealership that the vehicle had arrived and I could pick it up but it had a cracked windshield. I arrived at the dealership and found that the windows to the vehicle were down. I inspected the vehicle and the interior contained a layer of dust thick enough that you could write your name on the dash. The vehicle also had white writing on the windshield, rear hatch and rear drivers side window probably from the factory. The salesman Ken told me that they had ordered a new replacement windshield and it would probably be in in a couple weeks and the dealership would detail the interior. Three weeks later I was informed that the windshield was in so I made an appointment to get it replaced and had to take the day off of work. My appt was for 730 am and I arrived on time. Due to being told that the windshield wouldn?t be ready until 2-3:00 I had to arrange a ride home from the dealership then back later to get my vehicle. Porterville Ford is 52 miles from my home so I had to pay the gas for my vehicle and my rides vehicle both to the dealership and home twice for 204 miles along with the drive being an hour of my time and my rides time each way for a total of 8 hours wasted just traveling between two people to get a windshield fixed that Ford broke. We were later told that the windshield was finished and we drove to the dealership to pick up our vehicle. We arrived at 5:00 which was the time we were told after the dealership called us in the afternoon. When we arrived we found the Bronco wasn?t there and the technician had to drive the vehicle to Visalia to get the windshield replaced and was on his way, Visalia is 29 miles from Porterville so 58 miles round trip. When I took possession of my vehicle the fuel tank was on empty with less than 40 miles to empty. I asked Ken if he could put some gas in the vehicle but he ignored me and walked back into the dealership. My boyfriend spoke with the manager about doing the right thing and putting gas in my vehicle?it was like he was talking to the 3 stooges. Finally Ken got a gas card and filled my tank 1/2 way. Customer service and pride this dealership takes in not only Ford but loyal Ford customers is severely lacking! We have purchased three new Ford vehicles in the last 7 years and I will never buy from Porterville Ford again!
