Fantastic experience buying a used car from Audi Tulsa. Ben was wonderful to work with letting me do an extended test drive and I never felt pressured to buy the vehicle unless it was a good fit for me. I would absolutely buy another vehicle from them and from Ben.

We purchased an electric Audi from Audi Tulsa with the expectation of receiving the $7,500 federal tax credit. We properly submitted IRS Form 8936, trusting that Audi Tulsa, as the dealership, would handle their part by submitting the required time-of-sale report (ECO) to the IRS. That didn’t happen. Because Audi Tulsa failed to complete this essential step, we are now on the hook for the $7,500 credit plus penalties and interest. Had we known they wouldn’t follow through with their obligations, we absolutely would have taken our business elsewhere. To make matters worse, the dealership refuses to take responsibility or offer any restitution for their error. Other dealers are fully aware of the IRS requirements for EV purchases and would have done this correctly. Avoid Audi Tulsa unless you’re ready to pay for their mistakes

We want to clarify a few details, not to dispute your concerns, but to ensure there’s a clear understanding of what happened. The vehicle you purchased is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (P-HEV), which falls under a different tax credit category than fully electric vehicles. At the time of your purchase in August 2024, our dealership had not yet enrolled in the IRS’s point-of-sale tax credit program—participation in that program is voluntary for dealerships and wasn’t something we had been notified you were specifically seeking at the time. We also weren’t made aware of your intent to apply for the federal tax credit during the sales process. Had we known, we absolutely would have looked into the eligibility requirements and registered at that time to support your goal. When you reached out in March 2025 for the necessary documentation, we worked to help obtain the $3,750 credit applicable to your P-HEV. Unfortunately, the IRS was unable to accept the submission, as it required the dealership to have been enrolled prior to the time of purchase. We truly regret that this has caused frustration. While we’ve done everything within our ability to help resolve this, we understand your disappointment. My car-buying experience at this dealership was much better than I expected. Because I am female, I anticipated that my purchasing wishes would be treated with less than knowledgeable and equitable respect. This was not the case. My salesman, Ben, paid attention to my wishes, answered my questions, and worked to find satisfactory solutions to meet my needs. I am delighted with the attention I received at this dealership, and I would suggest that others do their car shopping here.
