Best buying experience ever! Great trade in value, super nice sales person (Nate), low pressure, easy, enjoyable experience! I would recommend anyone looking for a Subaru to look here.
It is such a comfort, and truthfully a surprise, to discover that a dealership has their customer’s best interests in mind. I was very distressed to find a crack in my Subaru’s windshield within 3 weeks of having it replaced (at another business). I came into DuTeau Subaru in Lincoln and spoke with Steve in the service department. He went out of his way and brought various parties together to replace my glass with no charge to me! I truly appreciate Steve in the Lincoln, NE DuTeau Service department.
A Great Subaru Buying Experience !
Subaru builds Great automobiles...but when buying one you also buy the dealership! I think this is the 11th or 12th Subaru we have purchased/leased from Duteau Subaru. They are the best...sales, management, service, parts and even the body shop. You are always treated with respect and outstanding customer service! Sales Associate, Dan Belling did a wonderful job again on our Subaru purchase.

Best car buying experience
Nathan is a great sales guy to work with!! He was knowledgeable and courteous throughout our entire buying experience. A week after having my new car, Nathan contacted me to make sure everything was going well with the vehicle. I told him that there was a popping noise when turning and the reverse camera didn't always work. He immediately offered to have a tech look at the vehicle free of charge to see what the issue was. I dropped my car off today and they are fixing a ball joint at no charge. They're also going to work with the manufacturer dealer to figure out the camera. Until then, they've got me a nice loaner car to use. I love my new car and I'm sure I will even more when it's fixed. They didn't have to do any of this but they are trying to do the right thing and that's hard to come by these days. Nathan, Katy and the managers there have definitely earned our respect and trust.

I feel my experience with this dealership and especially the individual I worked with through the sales process was exceptional. I was treated with respect, patience, kindness and understanding throughout . My guard was up initially because I had not experienced this at any other dealership and this was the sixth vehicle I've purchased! I was continually surprised by how informative and straightforward this individual was no matter what I questioned or how many times I changed my mind. I felt like he really wanted to find the vehicle that fit my needs and desires!
Outstanding Dealership - Each & Every Dept!!
Drove 5 hours to have our Outback in for warranty work because we weren't happy w/ the other dealers half the distance from us. Are we ever glad we did!! The extra distance & time was worth every minute of the 10 hour round trip. DuTeau stands miles apart from the others we've dealt with in this area. Although we had negative experiences to relate about their competition, not one of the numerous employees we dealt with had a bad word to say about them. They simply apologized that we weren't happy w/ our past experiences & hoped that they would be able to do better. That, in & of itself speaks volumes to me about their professional integrity. They were so unbelievably attentive, genuinely concerned w/ the inconvenience & negative experience we suffered w/ our last Subaru purchase and went way above & beyond to make our wait there comfortable that we ended up leaving w/ a brand new Outback which wasn't planned at all. I can honestly say that it was due to their forthright & honest manner along w/ their unequivocal consideration of our situation that prompted us to consider trading in our 2014 for a 2017. We certainly didn't go there w/ that idea in mind. The entire staff that we dealt with (from 3 separate dept's) treated us w/ the utmost respect, attentive concern & genuine interest as well as a personal touch which made us feel as if we were very important to them - even 'tho they were extremely busy on the last day of the month & were even short-handed due to a last minute illness in their service dept. They all bent over backwards to make us feel like truly valued customers despite the fact that they stayed 2 hours past closing time to wrap up our sale...including having the car washed as well! Even the finance specialist, Matt Lehnert, was outstandingly personable...never rushing us but taking the time to joke around & make sure we knew we were valued even 'tho we kept him 2 hours late when his visiting father was waiting. Our sales consultant, Dan Belling, was so helpful w/ understanding all the new options of the Outback & explained so many of them in great detail - again despite the fact that he was with us until 10:00PM & never *once* made us feel rushed. His unparalleled service didn't stop after all the papers were signed, he even helped us transfer everything from the old Outback to the new one, as well as several follow-up phone calls just to make sure everything was good w/ the new car, to see if we had any questions or concerns & to thank us again for our business. Also to assure us that if we had any questions at all in the future not to hesitate to contact him. A couple of items that we accidentally left in the car we traded in were returned to us the very next day in the mail & Dan even sent us a picture of the items so that we wouldn't worry that they were missing. This level of salesmanship not only rarely exists today but I personally have never experienced it...and considering the reason we began buying Subarus was due to an outstanding dealership in AZ I really never thought we find one that equaled it. DuTeau has *far and away* surpassed it. I (obviously) can't say enough about this phenomenal, extraordinary, unparalleled dealer!! If you are new car shopping, you *won't* be disappointed w/ a Subaru & you most definitely won't be disappointed w/ DuTeau. You simply cannot go wrong w/ that combination!
