First new car
I recently went to Checkered Flag Toyota to purchase my first new car. I had originally found a used car that I liked that sold, so I decided to go new. I requested information and was contacted almost immediately. The sales person, Bethany, originally left me a voicemail as I was busy when she had reached out. She was a little unprofessional in the voicemail (laughed the entire last half of the message) but I decided to give her a shot anyway. I gave her a call back and told her what I was looking for, and she did help me out when the time came for me to go in and look. Bethany was very professional during the test drive with my new corolla, and then we scheduled a time for me to come back to purchase the vehicle. When I came back to purchase she wasn’t knowledgeable about any warranty and extremely unprofessional. While speaking with myself and my mother, she decided to answer her cell phone in front of us and then walked away. With me being young also, I think she may have felt comfortable cussing in front of me but I found that extremely unprofessional, as I wouldn’t do that at my place of employment. After purchasing my vehicle, I mentioned that I would like to come back the following day to have the car detailed as it was snowing so it would have been pointless and I was told it was fine. She pulled the car in front for me and when I got in the car, it was completely on empty. When I mentioned that to her the following morning she made an excuse saying that it’s only filled up after it’s detailed, and while she may think that’s true, my family has purchased vehicles from Checkered Flag in the past and every time it was detailed days after purchase and that was not the case with them. When I returned to have the Corolla detailed, they did a great job, however when it became time to show me the features of the car I would have been better off teaching myself, which I had to do anyway. After Bethany unsuccessfully tried to show me basic car feautures, she could I think sense that I was unhappy and she said to me “well I can tell that we BOTH dont want to be here so worst case scenario you can get your brother to help you” and then told me to have a good evening and got out of my vehicle. I thought that was SO RUDE. While my brother does work at CF, he is a master MECHANIC, and shouldn’t have to teach me car features. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase, as I LOVE my Corolla, but I wish I would have went with my gut after hearing that voicemail and went with a different sales person.

Wonderful Experience!
This was my first time dealing with Checkered Flag Toyota. I've never felt more at home. As soon as we were greeted by Mr. Robert Cameron I knew we were in the right place for choosing my car. He was very polite and respectful. He was also very intelligent when giving me information on my Toyota Camry. He even took his time to set everything up in my car for me. It was a wonderful, pleasant experience dealing with Checkered Flag Toyota. I would recommend them to anyone! Go see Mr. Cameron, he will not let you down!

Jaclyn was a joy to work with!
Walked into Checkered Flag last week a little nervous about buying a new car. Jaclyn walked over and I immediately knew that the experience would go well. She's charming, warm, knowledgable and the most helpful salesperson ever. If she didn't know the answer to a question she would seek someone out who did. I bought a Prius Prime which is still somewhat new to everyone so some questions couldn't be answered but she sure did try. Having bought a couple of cars in the past from a different dealer in Va. Beach and not being happy with them I was so very pleasantly surprised to have people actually care that I was there. I'm looking forward to future dealings with Checkered Flag. I would recommend this dealership to everyone, and certainly I would tell them to seek out Jaclyn!
