Strike 1 - I bought a brand new truck and after 115 miles

Strike 1 - I bought a brand new truck and after 115 miles it would not start. Strike 2 - Ford roadside assist was over a 3 hour wait so I called AAA and they came within the hour and towed it to the dealership. Strike 3 - The service department kept giving me lip service and they actually lied to me, they said they had a tech working on it but I could see through my app that they never even stated the truck. When I called them out on it they finally went to start my truck to work on it. They never once called me back to let me know know what was wrong with the truck and the manager had the audacity to claim I called 10 times a day so they didn't have to call me. To be honest, I called once a day around 3pm in the hopes someone would tell me the truth about what was wrong with the truck and give me a real time frame as to when the truck would be ready. he then said "You can pick up your truck but I don't know if it would be ready" I have never been treated so poorly after spending over 100K on a vehicle. All the poor reviews on this site are basically about how horrible the service department is and they would all be right. The should fire the service manager and hire someone who actually cares about costumer service.

Buyer beware.

Buyer beware. Wayne County Ford. Bought used vehicle a year ago from this dealer. Was shown “a Carfax”, no concerning issues. Ran Carfax recently for potential trade. Report shows structural damage, and theft recovery vehicle.report shows vehicle was bought at auction with a structural damage notice. Dates of damage and theft were long enough ago that there would be zero reason for them not to be on a Carfax. And all issues occurred prior to my purchase of the vehicle. No branding on title to indicate the theft. Structural damage or theft was not disclosed at time of sale. Carfax that I was shown was not given to me for my records at the time of sale. Lender stated they would have never approved transaction if they had known the issues. Checking with other dealers, they will not touch the vehicle even as a crazy low trade value. Experienced car buyer of both new and used vehicles, not a desperate buyer. I would never have bought the vehicle had I known the true history. I had no reason to doubt the Carfax I was shown at the time because I have had good experiences with them in the past (or so I think), as they are a fairly reputable dealer in this area. Dealer is willing to take the vehicle on trade at a very low price as a resolution, of course given the history of the vehicle. Do not trust the dealer Carfax, or anything they tell you about a used vehicle. I do not recommend.

I emailed to ask for a price of a vehicle they listed

I emailed to ask for a price of a vehicle they listed without a price. Rather than replying with a price the salesman asked me to call. Why would I call without knowing the price? If it's more than I wanted to spend it would be a waste of time. I've never done business with this dealership so I can't speak to anything about them except not answering my request.

I cannot speak for the sales dept, but their service dept

I cannot speak for the sales dept, but their service dept is AWFUL! They lied to me and went back on their words to save themselves time. I own 5 vehicles and would never take a single one to them. Service manager told me that he would honour the warranty I purchased as an addition to my truck, as I had broken down and came to them. When I told him I only wanted the covered parts replaced, and to pause working it until I fgured out the rest, he then refused me service entirely when I returned. This was AFTER I had gotten a rental because they told me it would be covered. Horrible communication, and extremely bad customer service. I understand maybe if it was impossible for them to resume warranty work that they had previously started, but the rudeness, shortness, and unwillingness to work with me was ridiculous. Now I am forced to fix my own truck because he refused to work on it entirely (even after saying that some of the parts broken were warrantied) , and I am out $200 for the rental fee that they also told me would be covered by the warranty. Worst experience at a service dept ever. Directly lied to my face and went back on their words to save themselves time. Dealt with Service Manager Dave. Rude and disrespectful manager.

Wayne County Ford from the purchase of my vehicle to the

Wayne County Ford from the purchase of my vehicle to the service has been the worst Dealership I have ever. I would never refer or recommend this to any one. The Sales manager would not honor a discount that ford mailed to me on the purchase of my new truck told me I had to reorder the truck in order to get it applied. The Service department tells people they have issues with their vehicle just to get more money out of a simple service. They have been caught multiple time doing this and even doing fake Warranty work that was not needed. They have no respect for personnel vehicles left at the dealer. They leave keys in them at night after hours and I even caught them leaving a vehicle running in the parking lot late at night with no one around. Good luck if you trust them!!!!

What a nightmare for me.

What a nightmare for me. I went to Wayne County Ford. December 2022 Wayne County Ford did an all around brake job on my 2013 Ford F-150. Apparently it was not a complete job even though they charge me a lot of money. I use the vehicle rarely on occasion around town and I never noticed any issues until I went on the highway and I started to feel a vibration and I had to pull over. After walking around the vehicle trying to figure out what’s causing it I realize a lot of heat coming from the left side front wheel. I immediately took the vehicle to a local shop and avoided going back to Ford. The shop told me that the caliper is sticking causing the vibration and heat. The shops told me that Ford did not change the caliper on that side but did the The opposite side. The shop told me they normally change calipers in pairs and that should’ve been done by Ford. They believe Ford was trying to save me money but instead it costing me more money. Ford had no problem putting in a rotor and new pads but failed to do the caliper. It ended up costing me more than $300 to replace the pads-all over again and to have a new caliper put in. Time will tell if it created any damage to the rotor hopefully there are not warped. The shop gave me Fords pads back in case I wanted to show any kind of proof should it come up in the future. What a nightmare thanks to Wayne County Ford in Honesdale.
