I have been taking my car to Westway out of convenience

I have been taking my car to Westway out of convenience for years, in fact two different Fords for service. Lately they have gotten slow, rude service advisors, Juan was outright very rude to me last time I was there. This last time they flattened a perfectly good tire and wasted hours of my time. Their service manager though is very helpful, the one thing I’ll say. I was advised that I should start taking my car to 5 Star in Carrollton and they immediately found 3 major codes that Westway should have found last time I was in. That really irks me as I asked Juan about some issues and he would never do anything but tell me I’d have to leave the car for it to be diagnosed. Now my power train is about to expire because he was too lazy to check codes. I have a major transmission code and a code on my fuel system directly related to something I had asked Westway about (Juan) multiple times. Now I’m leaving it at Sam Pack 5 Star and again, these codes were found in seconds. The car does have to be properly diagnosed but I could have been in danger. I cannot recommend Westway service dept to anyone and will not take this down even though I’ve been asked before. Westway very well may have cost me major damage to my car by not doing easy stuff.

I had an experience with issues with my certified vehicle and I will simply put it like this. Westway Service Manager (Shawn) and Sales Manager (Mike Jones) went far and beyond to meet my SUVs need. I am for every grateful for their professionalism, commitment to their word and service. I got a service center for life

This dealership was an overall disappointment.

This dealership was an overall disappointment. Called about a car online and was unable to get an out the door price. It became apparent why when I went in to test drive the vehicle only to find about 3K in dealer fees added to the listed price. I wasted three days trying to purchase a car here, and left with nothing. Their negotiations are a joke, writing numbers on scratch paper that change day over day and presenting exploding offers in person to try and get you to commit. The culture here is bad, and they try to pressure you into making hash decisions. They also claim they “don’t accept outside lenders”. Called my pre-approved loan company and they told me this is not normal for a major dealership. Before I left the dealership offered me a ridiculous offer almost 5K cheaper than the original print out and an APR that was 0.5% less than my pre-approved loan which was already low. At this point I had to wonder what was so wrong with the vehicle that they needed to get rid of it so bad… regardless I called back the next day to follow up, as the price was good - they left me on hold for 15minutes and at that point I was over their games and tactics. Called Bill Utter ford in Denton and already scheduled an appointment, received a carfax and an out the door price on a similar vehicle before Westway got around to calling me back. These people need to realise they’re losing themselves business with the way they interact with their customers. Plenty of other professional and straightforward ford dealers around here. Would never go back here, absolute worst car buying experience full of pressure, anxiety, and deception.

I recently bought a truck from this dealership and have to say it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. Gilbert, the salesman was personable, honest, and straight forward at every turn. The sales manager found a way to turn the deal into something that to this day I feel really good about, which I don’t believe I have ever said after buying a vehicle from a dealer.
