Needed to see why gas door won’t open from the gas door
Needed to see why gas door won’t open from the gas door tab inside my car. The service guy said it would be 165$ to diagnose the problem. Keep in mind though I never had this problem until AFTER I had my state inspection less than a month ago. I said no I am not accepting that amount, and I retrieved my car and drove the xxxx out of there. They lost a customer for life!

This happened basically around 7 am Saturday morning March 5. I will find out myself or go to Christensen to figure this out. After the 165$ diagnosis, are you going to charge me more to get it fixed as well? That’s ridiculous!
Lee Schuster by the way was NOT the service rep of this particular service request, but I had to put in a service person who has helped me in the past to get my review processed. I’ve never seen the rep before (who did my request today), and he never introduced himself, so I couldn’t tell you his name. I’m sure it’s in your logs though. He worked from the last service office that morning, and he had a beard.

Took vehicles there for service since 2002.
Took vehicles there for service since 2002. Excellent service was the reason we bought our 2019 RAV4 there. Sales experience in 2019 was also great. So we were disappointed when we took them up on their trade in offer. The letter offered up to $35k for the 2019 and offered a 2022 model for MSRP, about $35.8k. We were lowballed on the trade in offer...only offered $29k with no explanation (KBB trade in at the time was $33k). Then they asked $42.5k for the 2022 and only went as low as $40.5k. I have no issue with offers as long as they can be justified. Just be up front. If you're going to tack on a premium over MSRP, just say so up front. Don't mislead us, draw us in, then switch. And have a good explanation for a trade in offer. I have to justify my recommendations and numbers at my work too. Maybe the man I worked with was overridden but at least tell us that and let us talk to his boss or appraiser. We have had very, very good experience before and aren't going to let this one make us decide to not ever buy from them again. But an up front approach and a sound justification would be appreciated.
