In days of old.

In days of old. when we brought a car in to be serviced like engine oil change and eng lite was on. Well they changed the oil & filter &they check the codes and ordered the parts But they did not clear the check eng lit.I cleared it my self. Now should I charge you for the cost of code reader that cost me 125 bucks.
