Tacoma Subaru

We have been bringing our two vehicles here for nearly a decade and I have never left the experience with anything less than complete satisfaction. We get thorough service and I feel like our associates do a great job of communicating what changes need to be made now and which ones can wait. I’ve never been upsold an unnecessary repair and our vehicles have lasted us a decade without significant issue. We recently had a punctured tire we took to a local tire place for a quick patch (less than $100 to fix) but I got a quote for nearly $2,000 in “alignment” work that felt totally unnecessary. Luckily, Tacoma Subaru found nothing of concern in their routine inspection, and I’m happy to continue letting them guide our maintenance and repair schedule! 10/10 we always recommend Tacoma Subaru!

Always very busy but rarely seem to be able to find and fix what’s wrong. And they’re always looking for something else to sell you. They just replaced my cabin and engine air filters 6000 miles ago and told me they needed it again. I approved it then looked back at my last service report and saw it was just done. I called and texted 6 times to ask about it and nobody responded. I then declined my previous approval for the filters. My first attempt to contact them was at 6:30 pm on Friday and they finally called around 2:30 pm or so Saturday saying my car was ready. When I asked about filters, they said they were already replaced and they would give me a little discount on the work. I don’t think I should have had to pay for something that should not have been needed for at least 6000 more miles. I’m going to try Puyallup Subaru next time to see if they’re any better.

I've always had a good experience when visiting the Tacoma Subaru dealership! The staff there are not only friendly and professional, but genuinely treated me as a person and not some blank face. They've not only helped me with recommendations when I've gotten service but also explained what it's worth doing at the time and what could honestly wait. Other dealerships I've been to would be quick to maximize how much a person would spend while getting service. I'd like to especially call or Lisa, at the service department, who was such a pleasure to work with! All in all, I can get my car serviced anywhere but I keep going back to Tacoma Subaru for the experience and people like Lisa. Highly recommend!

I always have a great experience at Tacoma Subaru. Open communication and time and cost estimates are always spot on. This is one of the few dealerships I trust to take my vehicle too, knowing that they aren’t trying to upsell me anything, including air filters! I would ask though that they make it really clear on the phone where I should go for whatever service I need. It is probably clear to most people when they call “service” to go there rather than express service, but my brain isn’t always moving fast enough, sometimes I need it spelled out for me “Go to service, NOT express service when you get here” Thank you!

Jim is a great Service Advisor and did a great job explaining the process for doing the required maintenance on our 2019 Forester!

Fast and Quality service, its my 3rd time vist for a different services but i may say they are the best , knowledgable agent to assist you from the start , the feeing of security and trust when they tell you everything about your car. Its very convenient to deal with them and the waiting area is comfy.
