My only negatives is saying that things are critical when specific maintenance on google says it’s optional. This is what gives dealerships a bad reputation. Fix what needs fixing but don’t pad with optional things declaring it’s critical.

I trusted Gullo Toyota of Conroe with my vehicle for almost two years. My experience on August 29, 2026, has now forced me to question the accuracy and necessity of multiple services this dealership sold and recorded. Service Advisor Omar Angel repeatedly told me that a $419.99 “automatic transmission fluid service” was mandatory. When I questioned him, he told me that my 2019 RAV4 Hybrid had the ordinary transmission used in the gasoline RAV4 because Toyota supposedly did not introduce its electronic hybrid transmission until after 2021. Toyota’s own VIN-specific records identify my vehicle as “Hybrid - A25A-FXS, CVT, 4WD,” with an electronic continuously variable hybrid transmission. Invoice No. 1258735 charged me for labor, nine quarts of Toyota ATF WS, and a “Premium Transmission Service Kit.” Toyota’s Owner’s Manual lists a reference capacity of only 4.1 quarts for the hybrid transmission. Billing nine quarts does not necessarily mean all nine remained inside, but Gullo has an obligation to disclose whether it performed a drain-and-fill, flush, or machine exchange; how much fluid was removed, circulated, discarded, and retained; and exactly what cleaner, conditioner, or additive was used. The situation became even more disturbing when I downloaded my official Toyota service history. Gullo’s own entries show four iridium spark plugs replaced on December 22, 2025, at 107,210 miles and another four replaced on August 29, 2026, at 125,131 miles—only 17,921 miles and 250 days later. Toyota schedules spark-plug replacement at 120,000 miles or 144 months. The same history records: * A cabin air filter replaced twice within 5,824 miles and 102 days; * Brake-fluid services repeated within 14,431 miles and 180 days; * Mass-air-flow cleaning repeated within 10,604 miles and 131 days; and * Inverter coolant replaced at 97,651 miles, although Toyota schedules its initial replacement at 150,000 miles or 180 months. These are not numbers reconstructed from memory. They appear in Toyota’s official online dashboard and are attributed to Gullo Toyota of Conroe. I have formally requested that Grant Gullo and Customer Relations Manager Paula Box provide a written, service-by-service explanation supported by repair orders, technician notes, diagnostic results, parts records, time punches, photographs, fluid records, and machine logs. I have also requested reimbursement of unsupported charges and an independent inspection before any corrective work alters the evidence. I am not claiming without an inspection that a billed service was never performed. I am stating that Gullo’s own records disclose an alarming pattern of repeated or premature services for which I have not been provided a written technical justification. Gullo must now do one of two things: confirm its records and prove why each service was necessary and performed, or identify which entries are inaccurate and explain how false information became associated with my vehicle in Toyota’s system. Until Gullo provides a transparent, documented response, I cannot recommend this service department. Trust must be earned with accurate technical advice and verifiable records—not demands that customers simply accept unexplained recommendations.

Jeremy was beyond helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It's such a great change of pace having someone who knows what they're talking about.

Thanks for recognizing our team's knowledge and helpfulness. We appreciate your feedback at Gullo Toyota of Conroe.
The service was good what was very expensive were the parts and the labor did not offer me an extra service or any promotion or some coupon or something to not pay so much

Fast and efficient. Although when I got the loaner car I could have used some help transferring 2 car seats from my car to the loaner car, the service department people just passed me by while I was obviously struggling.

Thank you for recognizing the honest and professional service from our team at Gullo Toyota of Conroe. We appreciate your feedback.
They provided great service. The price for some of the recommended services were outrageously high, however that’s expected at a dealership. They quoted me $360 to replace my hood struts. That job takes around 10 minutes, no longer than an hour. The OEM part is $70 and you can get aftermarket parts for as cheap as $10 but for reputable brands around $20-30. Needless to say the quote for that service was insanely overpriced and a money grab for customers that are not familiar with cars. That did kind of rub me the wrong way.
