Horrible experience with both the sales and service department! You would think being a repeat customer buying many Ford trucks over the last 15 years that they would keep right on their word (Shane Wellman & Neal). I purchased a 2019 F250 Limited in August of 2022 with a 100,000 Mile Ford bumper to bumper warranty. Prior to purchase agreements were made to have dents removed, trailer electrical equipment repaired, aftermarket grill light bar and fog lights connected, bedliner resprayed, and rear camera repaired. I made arrangements to bring it in after the weekend. I dropped it off for a few days and all that was addressed were a few of the noticeable dents. Shane assured me that the alignment was done, but it was obvious it was not. I ended up paying $1000 to have the suspension fixed and alignment. After a year of ignored messages, I brought it in for service and to have the originally agreed upon repairs made. No dice with a loaner either after waiting over 3 hours... Just lies & deceitful trade practices.

Nixon May was very helpful during and after the sale of our new to us Ford f150. He even made arrangements to come in on his day off so we could get the truck on the day we wanted it.

Poor customer service
I normally don’t do this but I came to this location yesterday evening to have a simple service done to my car and noticed how poor the customer service actually is. First salesman not very helpful or quick to be. Secondly when I was directed to the correct area, reluctance. I had to get off my car in the bay area to get someone’s attention only to find out and realize there was discrimination. This guy along with his co workers failed to acknowledge me completely and even though he did do what I asked he didn’t do a good job and did it poorly. I had my sister go to this location before and same situation, the difference is they had another person come out of the same race help her, she saw the same thing, reluctance. Customer service here has sure gone down in the last 20 years.

Stay Away From Covert Service
TLDR: Don't ever bring your vehicle here for service. 5 weeks later, with no loaner or rental, my 2 year old vehicle had 1 out of 3 repairs completed...... And I still have no receipt or paperwork that shows me what they did.... This was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my adult life. It was so bad, it's almost laughable. I dropped my vehicle off on August 16th to have 3 repairs completed under warranty. I picked it up today, September 21st. They had my vehicle for over 5 weeks, supposedly waiting on parts with no ETA, without offering a loaner or rental vehicle. I have 4 kids, all in extracurriculars, so this was a nightmare, but we somehow made it work. I was told it would finally be ready last Friday, the 16th. I showed up to pick up my vehicle and it was not ready as promised. I was then directed to Jerry Hernandez, the service manager. Jerry apologized for the delay, but assured me that Covert would pay for a rental vehicle for the duration of the time my vehicle was with them. He stated that I needed to call around to various Enterprise Rental Car locations and make sure someone had a vehicle in stock as many locations were low on rental vehicles and once I did this, Enterprise could call him for an "RO number" and Covert would pay for it. I did this the following morning, the 17th. When I finally located a vehicle, the person at Enterprise stated that he in fact could not call Jerry for this number, rather, Jerry should have just put a reservation in the system. (Why did he not do this to begin with?) I called Jerry who said he would put my reservation in and I was good to go. I called Enterprise back to ensure I did in fact have a reservation and the gentleman I spoke with stated he could now see my name in their system and Covert would be covering $30/day. He stated the least expensive vehicle they had was a Nissan Sentra and it would be $75/day BEFORE fees and taxes. I told him never mind and borrowed a car from a family member for the weekend. I finally picked up my car today. The keys and paperwork were nowhere to be found. After 30 minutes, someone was finally able to locate them, but the paperwork had not been completed. I was assured that it was be done ASAP and emailed to me. I have yet to receive it. The cherry on top? One repair was not done because I was told it was not covered by our Ford Motor Company bumper to bumper extended warranty (even though they had already fixed it twice under warranty and it's clearly due to poor design/craftsmanship and NOT wear and tear) AND I just put my car in reverse only to find out that another repair (a recall) was also not completed....... So 5 weeks later, with no loaner or rental, my 2 year old vehicle had 1 out of 3 repairs completed...... And I still have no receipt or paperwork that shows me what they did....

Do not shop here! Beware
Purchased a king ranch. They went to tint my moon roof. And cracked it. Took them 2weeks to repair. To call and tell me it was ready. Drive 45min to pick up truck to it no being ready. No courtesy call or anything

Expect issues.Expect delays. Don’t expect service.
Bought a pre-owned truck in June. Had ongoing issues with truck and rep (BT) who sold it to us. Only when upper level managers got involved did our grievances get addressed. Great! Was so pleased that I deleted my original 1-star review, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward 1.5months and license plates hadn’t arrived. Title clerk (KS) didn’t know why our plates weren’t ready but would get the ball rolling (again), mail us updated temporary tags, and then call us when plates were ready. Figured about a month’s lead time since DPS was backed up. Two weeks and no tags. Reached out a 2nd time with expired tags now. Called BT to get KS to return calls. KS admitted to forgetting to do it. Had to wait another week for emailed temporary tags. Two weeks after that, plates finally arrived for a total of 3 months. Definitely room for improvement in the Covert Ford experience when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. Much left to be desired.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I was charged for items the finance manager said was included. Included is totally different from saying the vehicle has this feature and it costs $1,000. I was told the vehicle only qualified for one type of extended warranty, that was a lie. The finance manager told me himself when i called about the $4200 charge that he automatically puts people on it so that if the a/c or something is not covered it won't come back to him. I have been trying to work with the dealership to rectify the breach of good faith and consideration, as well as fair consumer practices. They have not done anything but tell me what they cannot do even though this sale was made based on things not disclosed in regards to charges for the items that are "included." Still being patient and trying to rectify this with the dealership and it has been nothing but an uphill battle since I walked on the lot.

What started out as a good experience turned into a better one. Casey who was the sales man sold me a beautiful Jeep cherokee high altitude today. Everyone was nice but Casey and the Loan Rep Leon were exceptional. Would definitely recommend this place for your next car purchase. Good people!

Drove from Dallas after having a horrid experience with Toyota of Dallas. Was in the market for a 4Runner. Ricardo Costa assisted me. Car turned out to be much better than I expected, number lined up well. The only reason I got this vehicle was because I was first in line for it. There were 3 other families wanting this vehicle. I immediately purchased it and the whole experience was deeply satisfying. Keep up the good work Covert! 4Runner drove back home with 0 problems!
