Transmission failure repair

2020 explorer had transmission go out. The wait was longer than I wanted but less than what I expected, they did have parts available thankfully. To soon to tell if work was completed with quality.

Excellent Service

Excellent service, consistent communication and outstanding effort. My vehicle broke down in NM and the local dealer would not even start on my vehicle. Ford Pass towed to El Paso and the part was ordered, the repair was expedited for an overall satisfactory repair. I will definitely go back because of my great experience. My service advisor Jerry did a great job coordinating everything. 💯

Very quick service took my car in for a oil change the finished within the hour also they recommended other items that I didn’t know I needed

Great service department. Alexi was my service adviser. He was able to fix all my issue plus the recalls on my raptor. All the advisors are awesome.

Dropped off my vehicle at the time of my appointment, I...

Dropped off my vehicle at the time of my appointment, I was told that there would be a 3-5 day wait for a diagnostic check. I was told after the diagnostic check that they would make a determination on a rental. I informed Jerry that I did indeed have a rental on my extended warranty. So I am without a vehicle until the diagnostic, if you keep my vehicle overnight I am supposed to get a rental correct, or my extended warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on. This is the second time I drop off the vehicle for the same problems that were not corrected the first time I dropped it off with an appointment because of the same issue. Also did not get a rental then. Again it was going to take 5 days to diagnose the vehicle and they were backed up with work. Why have an appointment to check out a vehicle if it's going to sit in the parking lot and wait for 3-5 days. I need a truck for the work that I do, so the rental I hope to get needs to be a truck. I ordered a new 2022 Platinum, I am thinking about not picking it up if I am going to get the same service with the 2022 that I am getting with my 2017. I am looking to go elsewhere for a new vehicle. I have purchase a total of about 7 or more vehicles from Shameful Ford. I normally get pretty decent service, but these last two visits have me really upset. I normally don't write bad review I think second time, same issues, warrant a less than fair review.
